Every gen has this kind of amazing year of girl groups in Kpop. Remember year 2009 when 2NE1, 4Minute, F(x), After School and T-ARA's debut dominated. And remember 2016 when BP, I.O.I and the groups formed from I.O.I disbandment filled the stages for year-end festivals and award shows.

Yujin did a great job in Fearless, she was in character. Sakura movement in Eleven was soft and flowing, matching the movement with Wonyoung. 2022 is Year of the GG. There are also a lot of underrated GG which were not invited but did better than the BG that debuted this year.

@@weedzonthebus6301 I guess I meant more like NMIXX’s visual concept and the sounds they go for rather than the actual beat changes. Gaeul with short platinum hair really shined on stage here, and Yujin looked so good doing Fearless that it felt like a waste that Gaeul had so little screen time during Eleven (which I feel was more similar to that strong sound) and the concepts for Love Dive and After Like are more elegant/cheery rather than bold.

this collab just proved that girl groups carried the whole kpop industry this year. omg!!! also, xiaoting being the opening center was a power move! i got goosebumps. this also proved that no matter how many hate kpoopies throw to these girls, they will literally wreck the whole world just by being on the same stage. damn! the best collab i've seen this year! my 2022 has been completed.

Mama 2022 was way nicer to watch than 2023 it was more fun seeing all the idols of different groups put into once group and sing together

I love how kpop is becoming more collaborative. Hopefully, this will foster a healthy fanbase and hopefully less toxic comparison between groups. We can stan whoever we PREFER. (I know it's almost impossible to remove toxic fans but at least kpop in itself is leaning towards collaboration making fans of each be less hostile towards another

It’s oddly satisfying how Leeseo looked so cool doing Hype Boy and how well Ive Yujin looked performing Fearless! Sakura also looked really good doing Eleven! Also, it’s so powerful and cool to have THREE of the 4th gen visuals in one collab! Wonyoung, Xioting, and Sullyoon?!?! I think those are the tops three. 😮

The fact that 4th gen girl groups who debuted this year were so talented that all of them are deserving to win the rookie girl group of the year!! They should be proud of themselves
