@@TangoSierraMedia Well anArchive had to take down his videos when he asked them too. Are you and Robin (real name of Ambuchannel112) in the same ambulance company? If so, how is it that his bosses are asking him to take down his videos, but yours are not like that?

I certainly try. Difficult with my job and everything and sometimes hard to arrange, but the guys in the Netherlands were sweet 🙂

They have a sped up version of it as well, as well as a martinshorn siren. Some services in the Netherlands have Wail / Yelp as secondary siren.

These Specialty Care ambuances have a martinhorn beside the one you hear in the video. Normal ALS ambulances in Amsterdam have a different 2 tone siren.

Inside view of a specialty care ambulance (whatever that is)?!? All I saw was a bit of the dash and an empty coke bottle. And what's up with Holland? Clips like these from that country invariably feature one or more characters (always male) standing on street corners or in the median shooting ten-second clips of emergency vehicles flashing past. Don't they have anything better to do? A job to go to? Are they on welfare? Mental disability support? Do they have to change their underwear after the tenth ambulance has zipped by?

Thanks for the somewhat constructive feedback. Just because it doesn't take your interest doesn't mean it shouldn't take other people's. It's a niche interest. Ambulance Amsterdam have different types of Ambulances. A Specialty Care Ambulance goes to the same calls as other ambulances but can also conduct Intensive Care transfers because they carry more equipment on them, they are also slightly larger than the other units which are Mercedes Sprinter van conversions. Specialty Care Ambulances have a modular box body mounted to the rear, on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis. Lots of people "spot" emergency vehicles in many different countries throughout the world. It's just arguably more popular in the Netherlands than other areas, and because it's a smaller country more people meet up in busy spots. Silly remarks about regular every day people who just have an interest isn't appropriate, or respectful. We're all different individuals and all deserve respect.

*'Don't they have anything better to do? A job to go to?'* Are you working 24/7? Do you have no hobbies or spare time? Perhaps these people have well paying jobs that they don't need to be sat behind a desk or physically at work most of their lives. Says more about your own life than theirs.

I have a great interest in investigating how urban planning works in the Netherlands and thinking about how to apply it in my country (just as a hobby) but surely there are professional people who are also interested in the same way. I was wondering how emergencies are handled there. I didn't think I would find videos from inside the ambulance but it is very interesting to know how they have to work when the streets are designed so that all traffic slows down; It is important information in urban design
