Pippin is also really good since giving Niv prot from creatures will almost guarantee he gets in for that combat damage.

I’m still new at the game. I recently got this card the other day and I currently have a binder of wills deck, but I wanted to other abilities And color for some more options not really gonna be a really good deck. I have a tendency of only using cards that I purchased I don’t like buying used cards or stuff like that just weird thing of mine so I’m trying to use what I if I knew someone who was good at the game, I would go to them for a deck advice on building my deck also not used to hundred card decks

Just a tip, lands that tap for two kinds of coloured mana also counts towards the x for Niv, like Sacred foundry or Boros Garrison is one for boros. It doesn't work if there is a Yavimaya's cradle, urborg in play because that would add to the color identity. Having a chromatic lantern or Dryad of the Ilysian grove on the board also counteracts this synergy.

Hey ! Little question about a combination with a card i want to play with him, but idk if it gonna work :) I want to play "Leyline of the guildpact" with it, but idk if the effect of Niv Mizzet gonna work if all my monster is now multicolor ( cause he say "Exactly two color" ). Technicly, i guess its work cause most of the card we use is 2 color mana + X colorless mana, but im not sure. So, did Niv Mizzet effect still work of not ?

Leyline is basically a nombo with Niv. Because all permanents will be considered all colors when leyline is on the battlefield. I believe thats how it works

Also, Jegantha's mana can't pay colorless costs for Aggravated Assault.
