Good to see you got it cleaned up and running again, gotta like the sound of nitro rc. I prefer to run mine a little rich than lean, saves the motor! 🤟

Yeah mate I'm very happy it's going good, seems to be quite a resilient little motor💪 And yeah I love the shape and design of the older RCs, the retro look😅 I found a few parts online but it's definitely a shame it's all discontinued.

Nice to see a change of different powered type vehicles. Runs ok for a Nitro rc car. 👍 If you bring the Nitro car next time we go out bashing I might need to bring earplugs. Lol😆😆 Great job on the video by the way.

Yeah im glad I got at least 1 nitro on the channel now, but yes if you have sensitive ears you may need some plugs😅 Can't wait to get back out for another bash, thanks Li👍

All I know about nitro is that it's too loud to run anywhere in the tri-state region of where I am 😂. Glad it ran after so long! Great video‼️👍👍🦾🦾🤘🤘

It may have been a bit hard to tell on the video but if kids or families walked past I'd turn of the engine because I didn't want to annoy them😆 Yes very happy it running though😁 Thanks Dome🤘

Remember the nitro i had? It wanted so much fuel to run well, but because of that i needed to adjust the idle screw (on the carb, dont adjust on transmitter) so the minimum the carb could close was a bit bigger to deal with the extra fuel

Did you have it when we started chatting? Because I can't remember it sorry man🥴 But yeah I set my idle quite tight, may have to open it a little more, and I'm pretty sure as others have said, changing the low speed should help also. Have a tinker soon😁 thanks man👊

I found the tiniest gap between the exhaust and engine, gasket is need I think. Not sure if the tank itself has a nice pressure seal though, can't find the stock one anywhere so I'd have to adapt a different one. But yeah its sounding pretty good😁 Thanks man👊

@@rccrazy yes it sure did sound great. Made me take my nitros out and go for a whirlaroonie My Revos new engine has a lot of power it’s hard to keep the wheels in the ground. 😊👌🤘 It was awesome. Ya that dead spot on the throttle you were having was a slight bit to lean on the low needle. Other then that you had her going great 👊😎

Always like the sound of a nitro engine. I think a bit more small tweaking with the needles and maybe a slight different mixture of fuel , you should have it down packed. Also getting the exhaust gasket in might help with the back pressure on the exhaust. And will help with the return hose getting full air pressure back to the tank. 👍🏼🚗

Yeah definitely enjoy the sound😅 It does need a little more adjusting but someone also mention running it on 25-30% nitro fuel will make a difference, should give it better bottom end rpm. Think that's what you mean by different fuel mixture. Oh and yep got a gasket on it now👌

Oh and I never run mine with exhaust gaskets as well they was fine with out them

Yeah that's it, it's so easy to just grab a few lipos a car and go, nitro you need a whole bag of tools, fuel, spare glow plugs and whatever else I forgot😅 And the exhaust gasket, I discovered a small gap between the engine and exhaust so I will install a gasket but no they are not always needed👌 Thanks Kirk👍

Get a whiff of that!!...ahhhhhh! Noice!!...They were unreal back in the day, When I was a youngen, (Im 56 now) Nitro was the shit!! Until a very slow transition to where we are now with electrics. If you still love runnin them do it!! If ya dont, Dont. The old boats were cool as down the lake annoying the heck out of the Pond Sailors, Used to drive them mad. After so long not using them it was very exciting having a scream around again, and yes the smell is very distinct🤤🤣 I could imagine the sailors getting annoyed aswell. The slow glider crew back when I was flying planes heaps didn't like me much, was electric but I used to get my 200kph RearBear out and do full throttle laps for like 2 mins straight, all you could hear was my plane going mental🤣 Thanks mate, glad to have the nitro going👌

@rccrazy You should have a bit of smoke in the lower rpms when accelerating. Some fuels smoke less than others as well.

Ah ok yeah it could be just the newer fuel, it does smell less tangy than the old green stuff I used to use😅

That was a lean moment. Richen her up a little bro More fuel on the low and high needle both and increase the idle of necessary

It could be a number of things but if your settings are the same as you have always had them then normally over reving would be a bad sign, all my dying nitro engines did exactly that for a rew runs then just stop completely. Install a new piston and sleeve, break it in again and they are as good as new.

@rccrazy I'll give it a shot.... the guy I got it from said it was a good motor...but then again he said he was honest too which I knew better...lol
