Impressions/observations during the test drive:
The exterior design of the Z is very sporty and cool-looking. It is not too aggressive, but not boring either. Moving over into the inside, the materials are made of quality and durable materials. It also feels sporty with its overall design, especially because of the gauges in the center of the dashboard and the sporty seats. The paddle shifters also feel quality and are nice to use when driving in manual mode.
The twin turbocharged V6 engine makes the car really fun to drive as it makes more than enough power and torque for a fun driving experience. It also sounds quite good, which adds to the driving fun. The 9-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly in automatic mode and is responsive to inputs when in manual mode. The steering has good weight and feel to it which is expected from a sporty car like this. In addition to that its weight is not too heavy though, which makes this car easy to drive even in slower driving scenarios such as around city streets. The chassis and suspension of the Z provide a stable ride when driving quickly and a comfortable enough ride when just casually cruising. Its accelerator and brake pedals respond well to driver inputs, which makes driving this car nice to drive. Overall, the Nissan Z is a fun and engaging sports car to drive especially in sport mode (it has two driving modes: standard and sport).
