Great video. I used it for my 1992. By the way, I think Amazon has the fuel temp sensor wire. It is a Hitachi TMS0002 for $37. There is also some fuel sender units for the 1998 Frontier that have the same style connection for the D21, mine is the GDSMOTU module assembly E84415 for $41. I ordered one, but I'm putting a 255lph pump on it to get ready for boost in the future.

Yeah, I agree. This is a good video, but I would definitely not work on the fuel Pump and sending unit on the grass or whatever he’s working on it just too many contaminants.

@@JaboTheMechanic una duda, como pruebo el sensor de temperatura? Mi carro es Frontier 1998 y me marca esa falla, en el video anterior a este mostraste como probar el cable de alimentacion para el tanque. Como checo si el sensor si esta funcionando? Gracias de antemano.

My fuel gauge doesn’t work properly. It always reads the tank at being a little more than halfway or about 5/8 full after I fill it up. What the heck, does it need a new fuel pump?

Almost the same but I believe you can get the pump from rear passenger seat should be screws if I remember correctly

Bro I have a nissan harbody 1994 I can't find the fuel sending unit assembly for my truck you think the 1998 frontier fuel sending unit assembly will be compatible with my truck???

Hi . I have a 93 D21 Nissan, it has been sitting for 10 years and every 6 months I start it up and let it run about 20 minuets. It's a great truck, I have kept it in good condition, but now it cranks over but will not start. I can't find or check the transmission fuel, oil is good, could it be the fuel pump? Is there a way to test if it' the fuel pump? fuses? spark plugs? Dash lights come on, heater works. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Much thanks for your video. I've got P0180 code. Removed tank and found NO fuel temperature sensor cable attached to the bottom of the fuel tank and no like silver bullet looking sensor ( I think also fuel temp sensor) snapped in. Question are all 1995, 1996 and 1997 Nissan Pickup fuel temperature assemblies interchangeable?

@@JaboTheMechanic Update. Purchased from Amazon/HERKO 055GE Fuel Pump Assembly for $58.62.. I think they now just discontinued it! Realized tank did not have the connction for the (FTS) or even the (FTS). Salvage yard $100 tank and (FTS) fuel temperature sensor and now the P0180 code is gone! Your video was awesome!!! Now off to watching your P0505 video! Oh why did I buy this truck...lol

I have a 95 2.4L my fuel pump is surrounded by a rubber sleeve which is falling apart. I noticed your doesn't have one. I'm trying to find one. I'm trying to leave it the way I found it.

@@JaboTheMechanic i still haven't purchased one yet. but from what I've seen online. it's not included. at first I thought it was a seal and that's why I was losing pressure. but i think it's just an insulating sleeve ?? . but yours doesn't use one? thanks for the reply.
