No joke probs the best off roading I've ever seen (non comp) So technical and not to mention that's a A grade spotter who actually knows what his doing. He didn't jump up and down like a 2 Bob watch. He remained calm and gave proper spotting techniques with ease. Hats off to all you boys love it Subbed!

One spotter should be used, not two. I didn't like how flippant the TD42 guy was in giving instructions, quite a few time there where the TB48 was close to being in trouble and he was saying things like "Just go" "Keep going" etc, in an impatient voice, this sort of attitude is how accidents happen, thankfully the driver knows his 4wds all too well. but a new driver would rely on his spotters advice and could get themselves into trouble. 2 Spotters can often cause friction and confusion, I always select a sole spotter and that is it, everyone else can liaise with my spotter, but not become the spotter themselves.

  • @missysgirl6081

Simons World it is situational dependant, you fail to take into account that we all know each other so the spotters(who are fabulous by the way and I trust them implicitly) know us as well as our vehicles, the spotter sees what you can’t in the video so even if a spotter gets impatient in your opinion(and we’re all human) it’s simply a case of they know it’s ok, your nerves are a bit shit and they believe and know you can do it, it’s actually amazing team work in action on these trips and the TD42 spotter and driver can and does spot me all the time and I’m just learning still, he is a top bloke

If we have an unknown group with us, then only one spotter. In this case, we are crawling slowly on a tight trail, and have both communicating. Even if their instructions seem contradictory, they both understand that they're only guiding from their line of sight, and neither want to cause any damage.

Testing a diesel to a gas motor is hard when just trailing because the diesel will have more tq to get over more obstacles

The TD42 manual will have a much lower ratio than an auto TB48, apart from the diesel motor. The TB48 would have much more power over the TD42 stock.

Modern diesels seem to be plagued with unreliability, with all the dpfs egrs common rails and turbo issues. You're probably better off buying a petty, as they're producing just as much torque and much more Horsepower with just as many faults and reliability as a modern diesel

Everyone here wants their car to sound like a tractor. Usually the first mod. Then black wheels. I love all the cars on this channel, the driving techniques used too. I don't like tractors tho. 😌
