Nissan Altima 2.5 bad wheel/ hub bearing

Hello
This is the sound of a car when in motion if the wheel bearings are shot. It is pretty normal if you have your car sitting for a while and going through a lot of potholes. Mainly this part going out rarely compared to brakes, but it's a wear and tear on the mechanical components.
Symptoms: noise gets louder as speed up coming from the wheels.

Does your accelerator vibrate as well. I have this issue and I believe it could be my bearings. The thing is I had a CV Axle issue with my nuts coming lose due to vibration. Now I have thread lock (Permatex Orange) on my axle nuts and even though the instructions allow for hand removal, it is hard to remove.

In my case I was vibrating very lightly. I checked some bolts if they were lose but it wasn’t the case.

@@bigtaco956 thats strange. Normally, hub bearing and tire rotation take care of this issue. I would say check brake rotors but that’s about it.

It’s a loud noise when you accelerate on the road in motion.

@@khawarha your steering wheel shake when braking? Mine sound similar, but sound like a grind noise when slow acceleration and sound like yours when on the accelerator

@@dupremecanniedaboss1449 mine didn’t shake. If your steering wheel shaking, try rotating your tires and/or check the tires for its life. If you hear grinding noise that could a sign your brake pads are worn. Hub bearing can also make a minor metal like noise.
