    Great install guide, surprised is hasn’t gotten more recognition. What gktech part was for the z32 calipers? Or is it the same bolt pattern as wilwood calipers?

    Should’ve threaded the axle nut on flush with the axle to prevent damage to the threads when hammering.

    What process did you use to bleed the hydro after all? I’ve used every method imaginable and I still can’t get mine to rip every time. It’s super inconsistent.

  • @hyr0llr

    @hyr0llr

    2 person pump and hold, then brake the bleeder opeen and closed just before full stroke on the handle. Over and over again lol

    question though, does it go soft after a little bit of driving then you have to pull once to get it stiff and then it works agaian?

  • @diegoespinoza2567

    @diegoespinoza2567

    @@hyr0llr were you ever able to get it firm firm? Mine does the same, it’ll stiffen up at times after that first pump but it will never lock up the rear wheels. I’ve noticed it actually sometimes gets a bit more mushy the more I try to get it to rip.

  • @hyr0llr

    @hyr0llr

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@diegoespinoza2567 yeah right now its not firm firm like it only moves a couple inches and locks up, but it does lock up with half a pull everytime. Check to see your if your wheel hubs are loose. Reason is cuz when i did the inatall on the 4 lug, the bearings were fine. But when i put the 5 lugs swap, the axle spacer caused the bearing to go loose and so since the rotor is essentially wobbling while driving so it pushes the piston back in, so thats why i had to have a full pull to have them go out again.

    Hows that transmission tunnel e brake holder? I hear they flex? Not sure if i should go with that same setup

  • @hyr0llr

    @hyr0llr

    3 жыл бұрын

    The trans tunnel does flex a little when pulling. If i had to buy again, i would get one that has that fin at the bottom so its mounted at 2 different axis. The 4 up top and the 2 or whater on the side of the tunnel. But as it is right now, it can still lock up 9 inch wide wheels with 235 tires. The plate itself doesnt flex its a nice thick metal peice. But the trans tunnel thin metal does.

    Thanks for fast reply man and how does it feel reaching across instead of having it in between you and the shifter? Is it a pain or does it feel natural still

    @@pourtierbeatz7804 no problem. i just happen to be watching youtube at the moment lol.. yeah i didnt have to touch the stock e brake at all. everything from the handle to the OE caliper stayed all the same.

    @@hyr0llr does it still feel natural being on the passenger side? Or do you feel like you have to reach uncomfortably? Planning on doing it to the s14 but want it on my side

  • @hyr0llr

    @hyr0llr

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@pourtierbeatz7804 yeah it feels natural where it is. Even better than reaching for the stock ebrake. When going from the shifter to hydro my hand stays the same angle(thumb on top, pinky towards the ground) compared to the stock ebrake where you rotate your thumb away from you( 4 fingers facing down). I wish i could have put it on the driver but it would run into legroom issue. but even though its on the passenger side, it is still close enough where it doesnt feel like i have to reach
