@@mox6466 yeah that may be another reason why Nishinoya quit volleyball. In the first season he stopped playing cuz Asahi stopped playing. However, that still doesn’t mean that Noya completely quit volleyball since he still practiced during suspension.

This chapter gets me in the feels. I wouldn't lie to myself and say I didn't want Noya to still be playing volleyball, but the last quote; "Being good means being free" made me understand what Furudate is trying to do. Nishinoya is being good by being free, putting 'his soul' into what he does. As someone who's doing sports myself, I can respect people who has plans outside of the sports, no matter how good or talented they are. A little disappointed but mostly proud and relieved.

actually its not that asahi was confused when he wasnt called by a national team, he was confused that nishnoya dint want to continue playing vb professionally, nishinoya wanted to be free to travel the world, yeah volleyball is fun but at the end of the day i think it fits nishinoys's character more if he was out to travel the world as a free spirit doing whatever he wants

@@troyle710 thats not what he said.. he said kageyama was invited in japanal national youth camp.. you probably watched it in anime... nishinoya is deserving but he took a long break in playing because asahi quit the team before.. that affects his popularity all over the country..afterall..hes a well known libero in middle school like kageyama back then

Glad Noya chose tha way because it is very much like him. the "freedom" this chapter is probably freedom in general like how Shoyo is right now. both Shoyo and Noya are example of "they are not that good at school but they listen their teacher very well, in this case, Takeda - sensei.

bro noya is SUPER underrated, i'm pretty sure everyone realizes that well not only was he recognized on the same level as kageyama from middleschool. I mean since he's a libero, I dont think working on spiking and setting would help much but regardless, his defense and receives were at LEAST youth camp level.

Yeah, he said that his interest in other things (now we know it’s making mangas) grew over his love of volleyball. We haven’t heard Nishinsay this tho, but I hear you..

His grandpa's words definitely impacted him greatly when he was young, and as a tribute to him, Noya makes sure to embody that free-spirited outlook as much as he can. Whether it's learning to do overhand receives, or travelling the world to gain new experiences that he never would have gotten had he stayed in Japan. Regardless of how scary something may be when you first try it, you almost always come out the other end a more well-rounded and stronger person. That kind of outlook on life is one of the most admirable traits a person can have, and it only makes sense that Noya, one of the most inspiring characters in the series, embodies it full-hearted. For a shounen manga, its one of the best messages you can give to young children. Unless i'm wrong about this, I think it's worth mentioning that Noya becoming a professional volleyball player later on in life is not necessarily off the table. To me, judging by his conversation with Asahi, this is something of a detour that Noya took as he was still unsure of what he wanted to do after graduation. Maybe it's possible that he goes the Hinata route and tries out for a V.League team later on. Or maybe he becomes a journeyman who never stays grounded to one team, playing for multiple clubs in multiple countries. Perhaps this little detour allows him to discover a new passion that he can make a living out of. Regardless, I love that Furudate took this route with him. Additionally, I love how Noya's journey ties in with Hinata's regarding the concept of freedom. For Noya, freedom is having the courage and heart to actively pursue and gain new experiences in life; for Hinata, freedom is being skilled and versatile enough as a player to stay on the court for as long as possible. Hinata and Noya have always had similar outlooks on life and volleyball throughout the series, so Furudate bringing up that parallel again was awesome.

tanaka and kiyoko shimizu are dating ... man im jealous... tsukishima didnt went pro. but karasuno boiz are all watching their teammates hinata and kageyama playing against each other also shimizu i think is some sport analyst/some sport related job i dont remember because i read that a month ago.. kiyoko and tanaka will eventually get married and it was proven by the creator already.. we might not see it in manga tho..

maybe bokuto and the fukorudani... it was not shown but I think they won... korai went semis..bokuto too.. basically fukurodani will be against the team thaat beat itachiyama in semis and I think fukurodani will win that because bokuto is one of the main guys/.character in haikyuu.. so bokuto vs korai is bokuto winner for me...also thats fukorudani ang bokuto's main goal...to win the nationals
