I swear, watching Nirvana performances feel so cinematic, the song has such a dark undertone to the realism of fame, he sounds so dead but it makes it that much more understandable. Thank you Fang for this song.

This particular performance was shot on film at 24 fps, which for the better part of history has been a standard for cinema! That would make sense for sure!

Cobain was so awesome for covering songs from lesser-known acts that inspired him. He truly made the songs his, too. Their version of D-7 is the one of the most electrifying performances I've ever seen...

Amazingly great band. As for the technique, I must say as someone who plays guitar and sings himself, I find Kurt one of the hardest rock stars to keep up with. He was a magician on guitar and vocals, and as a song writer, he was a true genius.

Nirvana always brings something to the songs they cover, something special I swear, a whole new meaning idk

Reading 92 is my fav show. Sound desk did a great job, mix is perfect. The whole band seem totally into it Kurt jumping around a stage screaming and making an absolute racket with his guitar, i think thats all he ever wanted to do, he seemed like he was having so much fun. What a band. RIP Kurt. The lyrics describe Kurts life but he never ever lost his humanity

For all those debating, I love Nirvana AND the Beatles. Both had new sounds that no one had ever heard before. Because they were so new and different and insanely awesome, they're incomparable. No debate.

Live music was such a different experience back then. Not so polished and produced, but the energy was amazing.

This is what I loved about Nirvana. Playing cover songs from bands that they are suggesting we go check out. As Kurt once said, "theres a thousand bands better then us"

Simple song but such great sound and style. You can get into the groove of the any time. I love it. Talent that comes once in a lifetime. We miss you Kurt. Keep rocking the heavens up above.

I was surprised nobody noticed he was on backing vocals, when I was listening on spotify I figured it was probably grohl. I thought Krist only sung for an intro of Territorial Pissings

You can. It's just expensive. You'd need a Mesa Boogie amp head, 4 Marshall cabs, a DS1 Distortion pedal, and an electro Harmonix small clone chorus pedal. It won't be exact, but it would be pretty close to his sound.

Tooki kurts tone is really easy to get, any fender guitar with stock pickups will do. Boss Ds1 for a distortion pedal. Cobain never put that much of an effort in his tone, doesnt go with the whole punk rock aesthetic

Renounced Equation that is what I thought, too. Now, the only place you see it is an incomplete video on the boxed set. I used to own it on a bootleg C.D. where you hear some low “Ooh... Oohs...” on a microphone then they are off into it. That is such a happy sounding song, too. Come, on guys, please, another disc or maybe another boxed set from Dave, Pat, and Krist? That would be awesome. 😵

I guess you don't understand what this sounds means ... thats why Krist and Dave are smiling the whole time playing this at one of the biggest festivals in the world for an audience of 60,000 people. If you pay attention the lyrics of the song and Nirvana position at that time, you understand. Punk as fuck

In like 1998 I bought a bootleg CD of this show for like $60 which was a lot more then and now it’s on KZread for free. Lol. Probably the funniest part of the bootlegs we’re sold at a chain record store.
