I was at this gig, that’s me interviewed at 06:58 . Was so excited to be at this show. I got into a lot of other bands after this too but I would still agree with my 90s self and say Nirvana is still the best band in world. Aside from it being an amazing gig I remember a girl in the street after the gig who was puking, and I asked her friend if she drank too much and if she was ok, and she said “oh no she’s fine, it’s because she just met Kurt.”

Man, I feel bad for all these kids. Nirvana was the band of their generation and it only lasted a few years. Sad the way it ended.

@Danjoker Appreciate ur sympathies for Nirvana kids only having had a few yrs w/band. Nirvana:is a transcendent state where there’s no sense of self, no suffering or desire; the subject is released from the effects of the life cycle: death & rebirth. So w/respect, Nirvana cannot die, that’s nonsensical. And fear not, Nirvana has more songs than most realize. In those days it took digging to find anything non mainstream. I’m glad to hear Nirvana stood out to you. I do agree more time would’ve been (speechless) yet this band gave more than I can articulate.

@jun1or Agreed 💯Nirvana will never die. Their music is still going, I see young kids w/Nirvana smiley logos & I love to compliment them & show my Nirvana tattoo. Thank you for standing up for Nirvana, they changed the way ppl listen to & seek out diff artists. I’ll take the amnt of Nirvana music gladly any day over listening to some schlock rock bs.

great interview. great concert. every time Nirvana played a show, people seemed to be really into it. Nirvana had a special energy on stage, and off stage, they seemed fun to interview. their music is amazing, and it still captures people's attention today

yes, they were set to tour there in 1994, but ofc after the Rome incident, Nirvana would never play again

Opening up for Nirvana on NYE'90 w/Hitting Birth in Portland Oregon at SATYRICON was a highlight of my 🥁 Career! They even played tunes from Insecticide and In Utero, in their earliest stages RULED too! America finally got its "Beatles" & the 90's put the 60's on its ear! BESTEST of times! Thanks for posting!
