They were true musicians and performers. I mean look were David Grohl is now. Kurt was more of a troubled artist who found a creative outlet for his problems. So sad mental health awareness, medicine, and treatment wasn't like it was today, maybe he could have been plucked from this spiraling plummet into the abyss of dark depression.

kurt said in an interview that usually the biggest problem on tour each day was going around to pawn shops and stores trying to find a guitar that was left handed or could be easily flipped... and dave grohl said they had a workshop going once to build necks for the guitars, and that his drums sounded so shitty from being punctured that he asked the band authorities (manager or whoever) for a new set and the guy said wait another week... so dave conspired with kurt to make sure they were destroyed to shit after the show that night to make them impossible to play any more. im sure those guys cost a pretty penny breaking all that shit. how utterly non-attached kurt was to material objects or society at large. rest in peace kurt.

@@waveleopard3074 that would be a pain the ass to get a new guitar for each show. I took a lot of time and effort into getting my instruments set up and broke in just right. There are musicians that have played the same instrument for their entire life. Willie Nelson's guitar, "Trigger " of course and Jimmie Driftwood played a guitar his Grandpa made out of a fence post,an oxe yoke, and the headboard from his Grandma's bed. He was a fiddle maker so it was actually very well made and similar to a fiddle.

Yeah faz sentido,mas vale lembra que Kurt quebrava e consertava para quebrar novamente, além disso ele sempre comprava guitarras baratas e modificava,as principais dele ele nunca quebrava (tais como a fender jaguar e a maioria de suas mustangs).
