Niquette Bay State Park is a beautiful forested park that rests along the shores of the Mallett's Bay portion of Lake Champlain. It is located in Colchester near neighboring Milton's border. There are meandering trails that either end in beautiful vistas or by the water's edge. Definitely a beautiful place to visit!

This video was filmed in one day on August 28th, 2022. It was edited over two days in December (2nd and 3rd). I flew my Mavic 2 Pro for this shoot. Before flying, I asked the park ranger for permission and was simply asked not to disturb any of the wildlife residents found within the park. When I arrived at the beach, a bald eagle was seen perched in a tree off to the far eastern side of the beach. I was very intentional on trying to avoid it. I do not want to drive away any of the precious wildlife and really cherish living in a place where the wild things still are. On this day, the weather was perfect and I was treated to a gorgeous sunset in the end.
I loved how crisp the 4K video came out. Come visit this area as it truly is a unique and beautiful park. I loved that the beach was completely empty on a late summer day.
