They can't just put every big game on switch in the first 2 years of the switch. We got 4 big games last year(BotW, Odyssey, Splatoon 2, and Xenoblade). We got 3 big games this year(Let's Go, Smash Ultimate, and Super Mario Party). Next year there arw already 2 big games confirmed(Gen 8 Pokemon, and Fire Emblem). We might even get animal crossing or bayonetta 3 next year. Then in 2020, we'll probably get metroid 4 and animal crossing if it doesn't come out next year. Everyone seems to forget that, unlike other companies, Nintendo has 4 of these shows throughout the year. Nintendo is just showing what they have coming very soon, whereas the other companies show far in the future. Bethesda wouldn't have had that good of a conference if they took out elder scrolls 6 and Starfield. A lot of Microsoft's hype was from cyberpunk 2077 which won't come out for awhile. Also, Nintendo told us that they'd focus on smash.

Ombro I understand where you're coming from. I want animal crossing too, but they can only pump out so many big games. Zelda, Mario, Smash, and Pokemon are bigger system sellers, so they are making those games first to sell the system and making the others at later dates to keep the switch's life going.

Edward Gamel Yeah you made some good points. These new switch hypebeasts are used to getting a great game every month but Nintendo cannot do that in the long-term. Also many people are antsy because the last Animal Crossing came out in 2012. Hopefully we'll get some announcements at the game show and a direct in the next few months.

Nintendo did okay overall, but Smash was definitely one of the biggest things this year.

There's going to be a costume for Meta Knight in the game that looks just like Galacta Knight. There is one in Smash 4, as well, but the costume in this new game is going to give him the star-shaped visor Galacta Knight has, whereas the one in Sm4sh has the regular visor. I don't think he uses a pink sword in his Galacta Knight costume in Sm4sh, either, but he does in this upcoming Switch version to make it look more like the adversary knight's lance. I personally would have loved for him to make it in as an echo fighter, but he could be made a bit different. Had he been a separate character, they could have made his Final Smash the ability where he makes fire sprout up from the ground like in Kirby Super Star Ultra.

Bella D A few months it was revealed that they removed that feature. Apparently they scrapped the original app which was supposed to connect to New Leaf on the 3ds and made Pocket Camp instead. That’s why it was out so late. HOWEVER, today they announced that in the new pokémon games you will be able to transfer pokémon from Pokémon Go to the switch. Pokémon Go wasn’t made with that intention, so all it takes is an update to Pocket Camp to add this feature. Fingers crossed.

There are still plenty of other chances for animal crossing to come out, i think the reason why they added fortnite is because since it only came out in like January according to my sister it will probably stay popular for a while until people realize you don't actually really do different things in it. I just watch my sister play it because it's fun to watch her play it. I personally don't see why they didn't bother with adding animal crossing for the switch, because that's what they really need for it to be popular and i should really stop posting comments on this video because my battery on my laptop is already about halfway empty and when i turned it on it had full battery...

e3 this year was amazing. Every single company has blown me away. Super excited for SSBU though

Smash=major title,BUT IT IS AT THE END OF THE YEAR Mario party=a spinoff,I'm not saying it won't sell but it isn't a system seller Dragonball FighterZ=a great game which would sell pretty well,but it won't sell the numbers a GTA or Fallout game or any of the top selling AAA games can do Ark=irrelevant garbage that if THAT is counted as a system seller,the switch library for 2018 sucks hard.Nobody cares about Ark Pokémon Lets Go=there are 3 points that not only make lets go not a system seller,but a game that will flop HARD 1.pokemon go is dead.You are Very delusional if you think people are still walking around places glued to their phones trying to catch a dragonite.Pokemon go has been completely dead for half a year now 2.the probably less than 2 million people who still play pokemon go won't spend 360-410 dollars (Not including tax) on a switch and this game.pokemon go is free to play on devices that BILLIONS own,not 60-110 on a console that is probably only 20 million now.And these people who still play are the casual people who don't own a switch,not the switch owners 3.The people who still play pokemon anymore are getting turned off by the overly simple mechanics,lets get real here,pokemon is shell of its former self. It's been only a few hours after Smash was revealed, new FE announced and we already know metroid 4 is in the works. How are the animal crossing fans the aggressive ones now. "We need Animal Crossing" "I threw my phone against the wall when it wasn't in the live show, I demand AC". Cool your jets, it's not like it'll never come out. I like AC too but for once can we hold a little patience and understand that nintendo's directs happen all year round? It's not the only chance it'll appear.

I'm not saying you can't be underwhelmed, but angry just kind of baffles me. Last year had a jam packed catalog of games, but they take time to make, especially if you're trying something new on a new system. Just go about your business and be pleasantly surprised when they do announce it.

Loved everything I saw here! Only regrets is that I wish more was revealed about the upcoming Yoshi game and Metroid Prime 4. But I can't really complain with all that wonderful news about the new Smash - especially that it will be out in just half a year!

This is a spicy lineup, despite what many of us would have wanted otherwise. There's something for everyone and just enough beef to hold you over for what you're anticipating. Nintendo is doing so much right by holding off on the big bois, because they know we know it's coming. That's how you keep a platform alive.

Can’t wait for the new Super Smash Bros game. Also Mario tennis looks great too

No Spyro for Switch?

With the Nintendo Switch anything is possible. Even playing Fortnite without moving your hands as shown in the video

I love u Nintendo for octo expansion tomorrow and u really fooled us good

Can we all agree the E3 which was centered on Super Mario Maker was the best by far? Not even because of the games, just because it was so well put together. It was much more creative than today’s, and even announcements for games i had no interest in buying kinda blew me away, like the Star Fox one. This one just reminds me of any old Nintendo Direct.

Not much in the way of 3rd parties....I was honestly expecting RE7 to come to the west

shadow6543 Capcom is too pig headed to do that. They're fully capable of optimizing RE7 for a switch port, but instead they take the lazy route and only have it via cloud streaming for Japan right now.

who plays 20 games at any given time? I bring two or three games I'm currently playing on long trips but usually only have the one game in the game slot at any given time

In my opinion, I think Nintendo did ok, but really good for the time they had. Revealing everything for smash took about half of the presentation, they announced some good 3rd party titles, fire emblem, and mario party. So I think metroid prime 4, animal crossing, etc. weren't shown only because of time constraints. Let me know what you think.

I know so many people are waiting for animal crossing and I am one of them. But sometimes, we have to wait patiently (it's been 5 years since the last installment but still) and programming games and stuff like that take time to do!

People will buy consoles to play animal crossing, so if they're smart (I believe they are) we will get a 2018 announcement for animal crossing either coming out around the holidays or sometime next year.

Edward Simon Gray they'll probably announce something tomorrow or the day after tomorrow in a direct, Nintendo doesn't care about E3 as much now, they're more focused on directs

Mada Mada irk I have it on a decent Gaming pc and it runs 40 fps when it has the ability to run 60 and lags a little

Because mobile and XBO got it in September and the Switch felt left out. Poor, poor PS4. Only having one version.

Sigils, ETHEC. Sony blocks games from having cross platform so thats why there isnt a new version of minecraft on ps4
