Thank you for explaining what a “world edition” is. I want to get Fire Emblem Awakening, but the original American version is crazy expensive. I had heard that world edition games wouldn’t work with an American 3DS, but I guess that explanation was wrong.

I buy world edition games because it is the same thing. But cheaper.

I just bought this on Amazon. I paid $20 more to get a "non-World edition", just because I didn't know the difference at the time. Despite the picture and description not showing it, I was still sent a World Edition. People should know that this is what you're going to get unless you buy one on eBay from someone who took their own pictures.

I pay $55 for this game on amazon with the “world edition” label. So, I think that this label and Nintendo selects are actually the same in price. Right now this game without the “world edition” costs $62 in pricecharting. Just only for that label.

​@victortacuru8849 That's a collectors market for for you. N.A. editions of nintendo games usually hold their value, if not gain it over time.

Funnily enough it's this exact series of games I'm about to buy an Amazon and I was wondering what the world Edition meant too lol... Bought all of them fire emblem awakening, birthright, conquest, echoes and warriors.

I just bought 3 pokemon game world editions, absolutely gutted, but there's nothing I can do now

I got the World Edition of Conquest. 😄

I accidentally bought a Kirby 3DS World Edition. 🫠 I usually triple check for USA, rated E, T, etc. on the case/cart before every purchase. I played it and kept it in my collection because I love all games in the end. Never again though 😂

I actually don’t mind. I may change out the cover for this but I’m undecided right now. But doesn’t bother me
