Kabuto put him to sleep in part 1 with Temple of Nirvana and Sakura even broke Naruto out of A Genjutsu in The Last when he's already friends with Kurama and should have been broken out by him

I think people forget Kishimoto was working on Samurai 8 (his sci fi series) before he came back to Boruto. It seems like he's attempting to integrate a lot of the concept and ideas from there into Boruto but I think there is a significant dissonance between the Naruto/Boruto franchise and where he's trying to go. If anything I think Boruto should have been a series taking place 2 generations after Naruto's lifetime if they wanted to go the high tech route.

In shippuden I missed hand signs, I loved when the sharingan was just copy, genjutsu snd predict, managing chakra actually mattered, balance of strategy, jutsu and combat, like actually feeling like ninjas. Imagine we got more world building, village relations, missions like infiltration, guarding etc Naruto had so many cool ideas that could have fleshed out into a balanced, full world of ninjas.

That's what i'm saying too. Boruto series would be way more interesting if they brought down the scope and we saw them handle things that makes sense for their age and rank (like in the og naruto). I think no one thought we need a whole series of 12 years fighting Kage+ tier alien gods for it to be good. The series got too contrived to its detriment.

I don't think it's an issue that ninjutsu is losing it's meaning. I just think the issue is that there's no real power system taking it's place. All the villains have some type of hax abilities, but the shinobi don't really have a counter outside of Boruto and Kawaki. Stuff like that makes every other main character feel kinda pointless.

Aside from Naruto and Sasuke, every character from Shippuden got humiliated, wasted and written as a stepping stone for the new generashit I would have loved to see Shippuden characters vs Issiki He absorbs Ninjutsu? The "Jõnin" could have found a way around him, but instead they all attack at once and get wasted You know who doesn't need Ninjutsu? Rock Lee(7 gates), Choji(Large scale attacks to zone the enemy), Hanabi(Stronger than Hinata with Byakugan) Tenten would have gotten more screentime with the modern ninja tools but the writers are drunk Isshiki can't absorb Ino's mind transfer, as soon as Shikamaru binds him, he won't be able to absorb the shadow cuz of Ino So much wasted potential...

@@ws3240 this is literally the og naruto series. The chuunin exams and the haku fight are memorable for these exact reasons. Everything was used to the max potential.

The biggest problem was fights were either BIG FLASHY NUKE RASENGAN fights or really cool hand to hand fights w/ no justu. But ALL the BEST FIGHTS were fights that had a good balance of justu and hand to hand in them. Gaara vs lee, all sasuke vs naruto, obito vs kakashi, madara vs hashirama (these guys were too cool so mecha susanoo vs 1000 hand Buddha is cool).

They just didn't realise the balance between ninjutsu and taijutsu. Every great fight like gaara vs Rock Lee, Kakashi vs obito, Naruto vs sasuke had both a little bit of taijutsu and ninjutsu mixed together. That's why they became legendary fights and not some just another hand to hand fight. The guys behind boruto just forgot that in search of money

I think ninjutsu absorption can played well if it means a shift from ninjutsu being about big attacks and instead used more tactically. i.e. less rasengan/chidori , more clones and substitution.

I was initially kinda against this new ninja tool system and boruto as a whole but your comment was insightful af and kinda changed my opinion. I hope they ARE using this as a way to return to the tactical roots of the show

The repetitiveness of absorption is what i really hate. One of the things that made Naruto's fights so good was the uniqueness of the jutsu's and how they clashed against each other because every jutsu had a weakness. Sasuke's susanoo during the five kage summit was the strongest defensive jutsu we'd seen and it was immediately bypassed by the Mizukage's mist release. I think the absorption has been holding that back. Granted i haven't read since like chapter 45 or so. Maybe i gave up too late

Yupp, the overuse of absorption just made every fight one dimensional. Now anyone who is overpowered and has greater speed can win any fight while in shippudden if you are great with ninjutsu you can win any batter even tho you are quite weak with taijutsu. It was more of fight of two brains

That’s shippuden in general though. Shippuden you have character striped down to 1 justu and main strategy unless you’re Naruto or sasuke in which you’re stripped down to 3-5 tools. In the original Naruto even something like simple like chakra control dash, paper bombs and other small things made fights rather unique. Ninja tools became obsolete in shippuden and so did smaller things you can do with chakra

I'm beginning to feel the same way. At least with DBZ, the martial artist found a way to surpass the technology. But in the Naruto/Boruto universe, I am having a hard time figuring out how they can beat the latest ninjatool-assisted advisaries.

They’ve literally shown us multiple times how they can beat them. Literally. So how are you having a hard time? It’s no different than in Naruto. Exploit the weakness. Naruto exploited Deltas ninja tool weakness. Boruto exploited Ao’s ninja tool weakness. And just bc they have ninja tools, doesn’t mean ninjutsu is automatically uselsss either since not every tool absorbs. There will likely be a ton of Jutsu used on Code bc he can’t absorb with his Karma.

potential fixes for ninjutsu in Boruto: characters mix in their biological material into their jutsu, stopping it from getting absorbed. Code has already set a precedent for this. put "absorption chakra" into their jutsu which could cancel out other absorption techniques. Hashirama is suggested to nulify Madara's preta path with his own absorption and Boruto cancels out Ao's chakra absorption with his own. neither of which I am confident the writers of Boruto will pursue.

@@1001011011010 ye. A lot of ppl miss this, but Jutsu that actually generates or controls "real" material instead of chakra-based versions of that material is a big deal. That's one of Tobirama's biggest strengths iirc, he can create "real" water, as opposed to how Kisame, Jiraya, and others make water that could be absorbed.

4:00 you also have to remember that in dragon ball there was a limit to how much the androids could absorb and if you were just stronger you could just overpower them and beat the bricks off them the old fashioned way

You can't do anything from the Naruto era since anything just gets absorbed. I remember how terrifying the amaterasu was, only for it to be brushed easily

It’s frustrating cause characters used to have to dodge ninjutsu or something like that. It made the “magic system functional but after everything so far I think they’ve ruined it.

I miss the beginning of the show where fights we're actually about strategy and IQ one of my best fights is the Sasuke vs Deidera fight factors like chakara consumption, diversions etc were actually considered, Majority of the fights now is two people shooting nukes at each other.

Funny you mention someone absorbing the force Six. We had Darth Nihilus, who could drain the force from things around him, even to the point where he could drain entire planets. But the counter to that was Jedi Exile. Both of them were wounds in the force. But when he tried to drain the force from then Exile, it failed, and it weakened him considerably, enough to be defeated.

Yea I'm not as well versed in Star Wars knowledge lots of people have informed me of this in the comments the guy sounds interesting I might look into him at some point in the future.

I think we need a mix of big flashy explosions, cool choreographed taijustu , small lethal hax ninjutsu like kamui and flying raijin and some cool genjustu. But it feels like they can’t put all these things together anymore when they already have in the past. It’s soo much to work with and play off of but they only seem to ever focus on one ninja art at a time. Mix it up

What bothers me is that they've gotten away from fighting other ninjas to fighting gods. In Naruto he had to overcome rogue ninjas who had their own ideology. In Boruto its just these alien gods who just want power.

Well the thing with Boruto was that towards the end of Shippuden, apparently people were complaining about the flashy jutsu's and saying that taijutsu wasn't used enough. So they found a way to make taijutsu relevant again by creating the karma. There is ninjutsu, but it's not big and flashy like it used to be. I really do hope they at least up their game on ninjutsu.

It's not like most of the people who complained about ultra flashy giant energy blasts wanted something to just nullify ninjutsu *period.* The complaint was towards specific jutsu, as well as a broad desire to have more tactical fights, and there's many more ways you could've fulfilled that desire without creating a new issue.

Naruto went from ninja sorcerers to Alien God Sorcerer Androids. It added two completely out of world scales/characters and disregarded what made the series special in the first place. Still love naruto.

Just a theory: Orochimaru tried to create a pseudo karma seal. Sage creatures date back to the time of otsuki, so what if he stumbled upon some ancient otsuki stuff dealing with karma, and decided to make his own. Makes me wonder why people compare kuruma and momoshiki when momoshiki wants a fresh new body just like orochimaru. Also the 100 healings, is literally a karma that you store your own data in overtime. I rarely see people talking about these things because its mostly hate. But I think its a reason these characters are still around and relevant in the story💯 EDIT: now that I think about it, orochimaru is the closest thing we got to an otsuki. From his hunger for absolute power, to his methods of getting what he wants. Isshiki was what orochimaru wanted to be….. almost

Remember when people had to practice ninjutsu and memorize hand signs? Then when somebody used a jutsu, they were setting something big up or going for a finisher. Come to think of it, we've seen people LEARN jutsu throughout Naruto, but have we ever seen anyone INVENT a jutsu from scratch with the hand signs and everything?

Naruto fell into the same trap many other shonen have before, out of control power creep. For some reason raising the stakes in shonen also has to involve a constant, linear power upscaling to the point things become unrecognizable from the initial concept. Dragon Ball had a bunch of fun, quirky fights with a lot of imagination put into them and it all eventually devolved into non stop, indiscernible warp fests with the sporadic new transformation to simulate growth and artificially raise the stakes yet again. Same happened to Naruto. The combat was imaginative and complex and it devolved into Naruto going full saiyan and warping around DBZ style, completely throwing the concept of strategy out the window, even ninjutsu and genjutsu heavy characters forgot how to use their ninja techs and Boruto just made things come full circle with fights being nothing more than slow-mo DBZ.

The war arc destroyed Naruto as a whole, most notably Madara and Kaguya. And the most retarded jutsu in the world, Edo Tensei, no restriction on the user whatsoever, and not really a lot of materials needed for summoning powerful beings like Madara from the grave.

In the case of Star Wars, there ARE beings that can absorb the Force. They aren't seen as bad or unwanted characters because they also aren't written badly. Might be the key here.

There’s also tutaminis the ability Yoda uses to absorb force lightning, Vader uses to absorb blaster bolts, and Satael Shan used to absorb lightsaber blades.

Imagine if the new meta in Boruto was actually making stronger seals and surviving in order to trick the enemy into it, Gara could’ve been OP fit god hunting, get sick, his son has to fill in, or they have to make do with one sealer and the ninja near bye 😮

When Jigan tanked amaterasu my jaw dropped, like it didn't even burn his clothes, that's how you know that mans drip is truly fire, so much so that amaterasu can't even burn through it

Boruto just doesnt feel like it takes place in the same universe as naruto. There. Thats the problem.

Even outside of absorbing abilities, with characters like Eida, Damon, and Isshiki to a degree, ninjutsu has definitely lost pretty much any meaning. Isshiki could absorb ninjutsu but his shrinking ability also made almost all ninjutsu null and void. Regular ninjutsu hasn't been relevant in a longggg time. Add in ninja tools becoming more commonly used amongst everyone and it will just get worse. I think it was definitely a mistake to take the series so heavily in this direction.

I think i saw something saying that they wanted to scale down the fights and be more focused on hand to hand but i fully get your point

I wonder if yin release is just going to be better than yang now because it seems more useful to use the physical element or manipulate the physical element than to create it on your own with yang. I wonder if buffs like butterfly mode or jutsu that are less directally offensive like ino's jutsu, shikomaru's jutsu or things like the Eight Gates and Sakura and Tsunades jutsu will be better in the future. Rather than directly nuke opponent with ninjutsu you wanna buff yourself so when your opponent is off guard you can nuke them.

The problem I have with this show (besides the boring slice of life filler) is if your not a member of an OP clan (Uchiha, Senju, Uzumaki, Otsutsuki, etc) or have some broken curse mark you essentially have no real chance. That wouldn't be a big deal if it didn't leave out all the the side ninjas progression. Epic fights like rock lee vs gaara, shikimaru vs, hidan, or choji vs jirobo are a thing of the past. The 4th great shinobi war was full of amazing fights where a bunch of side characters got moments to shine. (Might Guy vs. Madara still gives me chills) And its a real shame I grew up watching naruto and quickly became an avid reader but this spinoff just seems hella lame in comparison. 🤷🏿‍♂️

That's ability was introduced in the chunin exam and the rinnegan was introduced in part one as it worked in Naruto because not many characters has that ability and you need the rinnegan to use just look at Naruto vs pain

For me the 3rd Hokage vs Orochimaru is still my favorite Ninjutsu fights. The way they use the elements in that fight is fun to watch.

It is sad. Especially now we can’t see the feats we should to silence the Luffy fanboys.

But I must say one thing: the music is very distracting and kind of annoying because sometimes it's louder than you're voice Also not everybody is a native in English and therefore these people like me have to focus to understand everything So if you want to keep the music that's understandable but maybe it's a good idea to keep it in the background and don't make it that loud I quitted the vid after 3 min because I simply couldn't focus, which is kind of sad

Hear me out, a good written Boruto series where we see them progress up the ranks and do missions would've been more interesting than what we have now. Almost like with part 1 naruto. Now they're faced with 12 year olds fighting country destorying alien gods lmao. The premise was doomed from the beginning.

Stealth has rarely ever been a thing in naruto. Skill and strategy are still prominent in boruto, the only difference is that unlike naruto they don’t spend 15 minutes spelling it out to you.

I’m glad you made this. I finished Naruto series. Refuse to watch Boruto, it’s so trash. They’ve lost all the ninja elements. There’s a reason I now call this show, “Ninja Dragon Ball Z”

I agree with you, them disregarding ninjustu also loses the creativity of the fights (and even some newly introduced characters, like if we compare the fighting style of the akastuki to Kara.). LIKW IMAGINE HOW MUCH MORE raw baryon mode vs ishiki would’ve been if we saw naruto pull out these big scale ninjustus we haven’t seen in a while, and them duking it out like the pinnacle of power. It’s funny cause in Shippuden people wouldn’t stop complaining about the energy blasts and whined about wanting taijutsu fights. So Boruto basically changed the meta so that Naruto and Sasuke couldn’t spam giant chakra blasts and had to do hand to hand and people are upset about that.

Is the Hunter X Hunter magic system (Nen) still working or has it also been ruined?

The way I thought absorbing jutsu could’ve been better implemented would be to ask if you could put it in a plastic container to determine whether it could be absorbed or not. For example earth, water, and wind/air can all be put into a container. But something like lightning, or fire is unable to be stored in a plastic container. So it’d work like chakra forms fire, and lightning when using those releases where as the others just manifest in those elements. I’ve never seen an earth style jutsu absorbed, it might’ve happened and I forgot.

Well the premise of moving away from ninjutsu shouldn’t be a thing. It is one of the staples of the series that makes Naruto what it is. So you can’t compare it to sage mode and akaski which are plot points of the story and not a fundamental part of it.

@@enju3588 I really enjoyed the way the characters distorted while using jutsu and also people died and they played spooooky snake music

sealing jutsu and his apllications has been used a lot in boruto anime, we have seen for example the izuno clan's cat covering sealing chackra in a scroll, the ninja tool also is a usage for sealing jutsu and many others. overall in boruto they expanded the less known jutsus who haven't been used in a battlefield and created a society half technology/half chackra ever so similar to fantasy society based on magic items with mana stones. new weapons have been added and some are amazing, the only problem is that they put it against against an otsutsuki or a main cast character which is too powerful of an opponent or they used it on common ninjas literally changing the flow of the battle. as long as you don't put them against the true main cast necessary for plot or use them as an escamotage to during the chunin exam, all weapons and tecniques added are and would have been even more amazing and could have been expanded more if the main story didn't focus only on otsutsuki invaders too powerful to fight if you don't steal their planetary destruction jutsus.

Ninjutsu was created by Indra. It wasn’t the original way chakra was made to be used so I think it’s kinda fitting story wise. Now since the whole reincarnation thing is over maybe ninjutsu will go away too 🤷🏾‍♂️ just seeing the abilities boruto villains have. They might need to rely on a different power

The ultimate problem Boruto will never escape is following up on all the controversial ideas of Naruto's ending. Indra, and everything to do with Kaguya are not well loved additions, but they set the bar for power going forward. And since Boruto was shonen and didn't want a lower stakes story than the last one, it decided to choose between elaborating on the most hated villain or creating something completely new and out of left field. Danzo is up there for most hated as a person, but he's a well liked addition to the series because many found his death satisfying, whereas many don't care about Kaguya as a person but she's the most hated villain addition to the series, that or Black Zetsu who's her bitch. Writing for Boruto is not a position I envy.

In general, chakra as a power system simply wasn't fleshed out anywhere near enough before the series simply stopped caring about explaining it any further or playing around with it.

What purpose do hand seals serve and why do some techniques necessitate thirty seals sometimes but only one other times? What is Yin chakra and yang chakra? Where do they fit in the wheel? How does one test for the kekkei genkai transformations? What even is a kekkei genkai at the end of the day? How do you learn fuinjutsu? How did animals get chakra in the first place? If chakra control is fundamental in creating jutsu why aren't Sakura and Tsunade among the most skilled at ninjutsu (bar medical ninjutsu)? How do dojutsu even work? Do your eyebals replace handseals? Is it the chakra in the brain or the eyeball itself? Like half of the basic of chakra aren't ecven explored until Shippudden. We didn't learn thing anything about how ninjutsu is actually created (nature transformation, shape transformation, Ying, Yang, Senjutsu, etc) until Naruto was already a decade in. The running out of chakra thing is entirely arbitrary throughout the series. Techniques that should common place throughout the ninja world simply aren't used by characters with access to them and relagated to data book quick facts. One of the biggest missed opportunities in the series combat was the strategy of removing your opponents ability to use handseals (like the Haku fight or the final fight in Naruto proper). You'd imagine this would be a pretty normal considering how Kakashi reacted to Haku being able to weave seals with one hand but no. By Shippudden just about any character could produce ninjutsu with a single seal, one handed, or without seals at all. TL;DR Chakra as power system falls vicitim to not having a strong enough foundation and being completely inconsistent.

Lets try to answer one, why does water dragon need 30 hand seals at the start of the series but then can be performed with one or no hand seals throughout the rest of the series? Leading from this, what purpose do seals actually serve as they are used completely inconsisently. Rasengan was supposed to be so useful partially due to not requring handseals but by the time we get to the akatsuki arcs most ninjutsu can be done without handseals

Ay if we ever get a storm 5 the scientist guy for sure has to be a playable character

It's like regeneration in dragon ball with how strong the characters are having it just puts them in a way better place and it just keeps showing up

Jutsu is what made me watch Naruto in the first place. The spectacle of the combat on display was what drew me in. I'm not sure how they're going to recapture that in this setting, where generic technology is starting to take over. How are they going to do anything that's even half as interesting, whether it be visually or practically? Along with all of Boruto's other problems, this is yet another thing that makes it feel as though it might as well be an entirely new IP, aimed at an entirely different audience.

@@enju3588 Hand signs were a fun gimmick. As was the shouting out of different jutsus. Regardless, though, it was definitely infinitely more interesting than "Pocket Rasengan, because why not?" I mean, just think about how that cheapens everything about the great champions of yore. Now everyone can be a Madara-level combatant by the end of the afternoon, assuming you get the right gadgets, and nothing matters. I predict that Boruto is going to end up going down the dreadfully boring Dragonball Z route of ridiculously overpowered fighters and villains to the point that combat becomes wholly uninteresting, because someone's going to pull out some random gimmick, like pocket Sagemode+2 and randomly be Hagoromo-tier.

​@@henrikhumle7255 these things started to become a issue since Shippuden.you know pains androids and such.ninja tech in Boruto was only going to be used for characters with disabilitys.imagin might guy fighting with ninja tech you know since he's disabled it would make since there.ninja tech is not a bad thing it's how it's used that will determine the out come.naruto having a magic chakra system is why the power scaling eventually became more overkill in Shippuden naruto.ninja tech has heavy limitations though since ninja tech cannot grant transfermations only weakend jutsu.so there is a massive limit to ninja tech

​@@henrikhumle7255 you are also forgetting ten ten whose whole gimmick was a pocket ninja.ninja scrolls tenten used aslo could carry weapons and jutsu.the ninja tech in Boruto is tentens scrolls but in gauntlet form but you still need ninja scrolls to activate every thing.Samurai X a.k.a Kenshin had no magic system that's why Samurai X also know as Kenshin was able to stay grounded as a anime.naruto was never going to be about generic ninjas since it has a shounen style magic system.orochimaru and his star trek medical pods and his scientific jutsu was proof that Naruto characters would eventually get technology benefits eventually in future years.

Koji exposed karma’s absorption loophole by using natural flames. Kawaki touched on this when he explained what karma is. Hopefully this idea is brought back into the series at a later date.

@@gameuniverse5973 Not really. Code was able to introduce some of his blood into the chains so the juubi couldnt absorb them. Similar things could be done with other jutsus.

The problem is that by Boruto, Naruto and Sasuke as demi gods so far above everyone that the only way to create tension is to have something that nullifies their powers and depowering them.

The series has been dead for a long time to me. I cannot find a connection to any of these characters anymore. Boruto is not a part of the Naruto franchise I feel. So whatever they do from here on out, I will not mind. However yes, the big flashy ninjutsu used to be a complaint toward the end of Shippuden. The fact they went this route to have more taijutsu means they didn't truly understand the complaints to begin with. Most people never had an issue with ninjutsu to begin with. I think the issue arose when characters started throwing massive explosions w/out handsigns, ninja tactics, or limitations, purely as a brute force assaults. I feel jutsu used to be interesting because of the variety of their uses and the ingenuity of their users. The nuke attacks were fine even earlier on in the series but in moderation and only for certain fights. For example, Orochimaru vs 4 tailed Naruto. An incredibly good example of how a fight utilised both ninjutsu and genjutsu with flashy attacks, would be Deidara vs Sasuke. That fight had it all. Or even the short Kakashi vs Sasuke. Both main Sasuke vs Naruto fights balance this incredibly well too. It shows that ninjutsu and taijutsu can work effectively well with each other and that's what makes a perfect Naruto fight, along with some clever but not long winded tactics. The thing that people weren't happy about from around the middle of the war arc was that ninja and creatures began using big bang powerful moves way too often, getting rid of the magic of seeing it and making them an every day thing. The other reason is, the bijuu dama in particular seemed to have no virtual limits, so they could just be spammed. Plus, Taijutsu became almost not used at all and instead the ninja would almost solely rely on techniques. This was remedied by Naruto vs Sasuke because in my opinion, that battle demonstrated how the two worlds can live in harmony (big flashy attacks + tactics, small jutsu and taijutsu). The hand signs and the setups for jutsu also didn't feel the same for most of the war arc and they still don't in Boruto. Usually, the users would be setting up a fake out, a diversion or something else with jutsu, as well as having to make the actual hand signals. This wasn't present in the war arc for most of it and not in Boruto a lot either. But now... too many ninja can absorb ninjutsu when they want. They have no limit to them. The theme is far overused. On the surface it almost seems like naruto but it lacks the mood and feel of it because of missing elements and how it's executed

kamui sharingan- gone jutsu - irrelevant kurama- gone rinnegan- underused, then gone side characters- too weak compared to main characters to be useful at all villains- all either kaguya ripoffs or less developed versions of the akatsuki newgen kids- all ripoffs of og naruto kids 8 gates- even with the gate of death youre not relevant to even kid borushiki i dont understand how kishimoto and staff could fumble the series so hard

@@tmac1499 think of how varied the villain designwere from naruto up to shippuden. orochimaru, sasori, pain, obito, edo madara, even zabuza and haku all looked not only cool, buyt memorable and distinct. on tthe other hand, if you showed a non-naruto fan an image of juubi madara, juubi obito, kgauya, momoshiki, etc, theyd prob not even be able to get their names right the whole otsutsuki thing sucks because not only does it mean the majority of villains are just going to be space enemies with no real attachment to the characters, unlike in naruto/shippuden (painwas a corrupted jiraya student, obito was kakashis teammate, madara was a historic figure, even zabuza was a rogue ninja from a competing village), but it also means they all generally look the same, a bland kaguya template with horns and a white robe. boruto villains that are just op robed planet busters with loose relations to kaguya are lame af i cant care about naruto and sasuke vs momoshiki no matter how well animated it is if he's just some nobody the writers pulled from space. even dbz did this better by having raditz arrival connect to goku by explaning his previously mysterious backstory

I was always confused why in Shippuden Dojutsu has literally nothing to do with eyes. Like what in the world is the relationship between a giant samurai mech and special eyes? Sharingan's original ability was being able to 'see' chakra and 'see' enemy movements faster

Susanoo is a reference to a Japanese myth about a character named susanoo who defeated a eight headed snake monster named yamata no orochi. This is why kishimoto gave itachi the susanoo and had him absorb orochimaru to reference the myth.

All the MS abilities are based on japanese lore mainly the deities. Komo, Amaterasu, susanoo, tsyukiomi etc. That’s the connection between them. And what do you mean dojutsu have nothing to do with the eyes? Literally the MS abilities and base sharingan abilities require the eyes, except susanoo.

Actually in the legends version of star wars there was ability where you could absorb the force from someone. There was even a creature that could prevent force users from using the force.

What's the OST that plays within the first 2 and a half minutes

Reading the manga and watching the anime are such different experiences. The characters being weaker in the show make it so much better

One things that's been screaming in the back of head for the past few chapters of Boruto is how tf Amado create these op super robots. With Delta it wasn't all too bad, but then Aida and her brother showed and I was just stumped on how they had these busted ass abilities. If I'm missing something, someone please help me understand.

Boruto just seemed like it was focused on sci-fi and technology.

I think the main reason they didn't give Code's Karma absorption is to counter this. Doesn't seem like Eida and Daemon can absorb either. Daemon can reflect but since it has a weakness I think they'll come up with a cool way to counter it and take him down. I do also think the absorption was mainly set up to counter how powerful Naruto and Sasuke were for most of the series. If they could use jutsu at will they would've obliterated everyone.

Rock Lee should be a god because of this in Boruto to be honest

I remember Naruto was all about him having no talent but with hard work, and using the burden that is the tailed beast, persevere. Now Narutard is from a unique clan from his Mother's side that is known to have extremely massive Chakra pool, and a genius 4th Hokage Father that Both loved him dearly. Whereas Sasuke is retconned that his parents and brother actually loves him. BULL..

@@pablonull people are overexpressiving over Kishimoto's works. Actually, 20 years later he still ignores his supporting characters. Not writing in respective roles. Naruto saves the day with his giant rasengan and Team 7 with an exceptional supporting guy who is a genius. That's it.

@@pablonull He’s right tho. And the fact that Kishimoto can’t right competent female characters to save the life of him is bizarre. Also Naruto is a huge gaslighter with that talk no jutsu bs. Ain’t no villain with a brain would listen to what the hero has to say, let alone blindly agree to them. The power creeping is horrible, when were the last time any other techniques or clans were seen as capable than the Uchihas, Senjus, Uzumakis, or Namikaze clan. None. Speaking of useless, none of the supporting young characters are even given a time to shine during shippuden aside from Team 7. Neji was killed off for nothing but to drive Naruto’s romance with Hinata. I can’t remember is Rock Lee did anything. And the rest like TenTen is borderline useless. Naruto is a mid story through and through.
