That’s the problem with trying to zone out- You back yourself in the corner ( This is where a character like Liu Kang thrives at, especially Ninjakilla) Not to mention in MK you can’t backup while blocking. So, you may get a match in but eventually you will have to fight your way out the corner. With no where to backdash if your opponent staggers or whiff (only blocking)

Wraith a wayyyy better player then what he showed in this match... ive seen him do some godlike gameplay , he seemed scared just zoned out not aggressive at all didn't even look like the same player smh...kinda disappointed being imo one of the best and the best shang

I felt this, i thought he would do so much better, not his fault cause of crowd pressure but man i was disappointed

You could see it on wraiths face after he morphed into lui and got immediately punished for it, he shaking his head and shit like fuck did I do that for 😅😢 intense match

That was one of the greatest fight ever my opinion they both play got damn well😮‍💨

He should have known shang cant be liu, its cannon

The fact that the commentator said he didn't know you could flawless block forward 4 is insane to me and makes me question their gaming credibility. You can flawless block anything in the game. Except unblockables. Not sure about fatal blow. 3:10

I think Shang needs a buff, his damage is not great and his zoning is really not that good, so he doesn’t have that much going for him
