I love this. So many people don't understand the mechanics of pressure cooking. All the videos out there for poached or soft boiled eggs, saying "set the the cooking time for five minutes "? Well, guess what? The time it takes to come to pressure, your eggs have been cooking. Those extra five minutes will give you hard boiled, to hard set eggs.
just made these and they are absolutely gorgeous!
Brilliant, just come accross your channel while browsing Ninja 15in1 cooking ideas and although i love USA recipes i find there is not many UK doing much with this ninja. Thank you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Tried this today and wow finaly perfect poached eggs thank you both 👍🏻
Thank you for this! So simple. Didn't have silicone poachers but used silicone cupcake cases which works just as well. And today I chucked in some mushrooms in a separate cupcake case and they turned out yummy too.
Looking forward to trying this for lunch, thank you

oh my god, tried this and awesome, thanks for this blinding idea
15:1 owners will love this. But sorry guys. Boiling a cup of water in kettle and putting on hob in pan would take less time and less hassle! But seriously thanks for showing this version. If I had 6 eggs to do I’d do it your way. 👍
Quite easy and thank you for showing me that

Hi, thanks for your comment - no worries. Stu
Just tried it, worked a treat. Not really runny, but that's ok.
I like it!
I have just found you and I have subscribed
Just found you, gave a thumbs up and subscribed. I’m from Florida, US. I love poached eggs, use the ‘swirl’ method in a pot with water and vinegar, what a mess! It never comes out that nice so I order this in a restaurant and that’s because I just fail at this every time. I have shared this channel on my Diabetes group, Keto Twins and looking to share on a couple of groups. Maybe not a big deal but to me, a money saver. One thing I like to do is to do the egg loaf method. 5 minutes high pressure, 5 minutes pressure release. I just use the pot in pot. Use your Frylight in a pot with your 250 ml water below it. I cover the pot with foil to keep the water out. Then just remove. the egg loaf and chop.

Hi Stacy, thanks very much for your amazing comment - it really means a lot. Also, thanks very much for sharing our channel. Agreed on the swirl method, I have never been able to make them in a pot of water. Thanks for the heads up on the egg loaf method - I'll give it a try. 😊
Thank you brilliant good idea

Thanks for your comment - Agreed, we have this planned for Christmas breakfast with smoked salmon on English muffins with hollandaise sauce. The kids are looking forward to the presents and I am looking forward to breakfast lol. Stu
Looks good, only just got my 15-in-1 but loving it so far. I’ll give this a try as I loved poached eggs but they are usually a bit of a faff. This looks a lot easier.

Thanks for your comment - How are you getting on with your ninja and how were your poached eggs? we don't have them often but its nice to have this way available to us when we do want them.
I have never had success with my eggs I will try your way
Are they large eggs you’re using there ?
Hello great video, Thank you ! I am looking forward to trying these poached eggs in my new silicone egg poachers when they arrive today. I’ve had my large eggs chilling in the fridge since last night ! I have a question for you in the video you didn’t say what size eggs to use, Are they large eggs? I’ve just received my new ninja foodie max 15-in-1 last week, I’ve never had one before or used one , so I’m just getting used to it . I’m just going to subscribe & I’m looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Thank you !

Hi, thanks for your comment and sorry for our delayed response. We only ever use large eggs as that's what most recipes call for. How were your poached eggs and how are you getting on with your Ninja? Stu.
Thanks. Tried exactly as you showed and they didn't really work - the white was runny in parts and the yolk was overcooked in parts. Don't understand why ☹️
Just tried this - brilliant, 👍👍👍 will be my go to method from now on, have had those silicone poachers for ages but didn’t get on with them until today. Thank you so much. Any Indian curry recipes would be appreciated if possible, no worries if you don’t do Indian food though. Ann in west Lancashire x

Hi Ann in West Lancashire - thanks very much for your comment, glad its helped you. Great idea on the curry, i'll have a look to see what I can do 😊.
I have a NINZA duel air fryer but it doesn't have pressure cooking on it so how do i manage.

thanks of your comment - unfortunately this way is only possible on the 15-1 version. We have just bought a dual air fryer, it's a great device.
Hmmmm why do I have to put mine on for 4 minutes and I use hot water.
just used your method to make eggs benedict 😋😋😋😋

Brilliant video as usual, I will poach my eggs this way only from now on Thanks 😋 One word though Naughty saying use Butter when on the table you had a tub of Margarine! Jen I am Ambidextrous so where does that put me in the Kackhandedness? 😵💫

Thanks for the comment, in all honesty I call all butter & margarine butter - no idea why lol. Ambidextrous is a serious skill - Jen is very impressed.

@@hashtagbudgetmeals I have a 9/1 but It has two lids crisper lid and pressure lid I love it but yours seems more convenient but smaller
Mine where so dry
I just tried this with 3 eggs and whites weren’t done at all.🤢 Do you recommend more then 0 minutes for 3 eggs?
Am I missing something here? The time it takes for the ninja to allow me to open the lid after releasing pressure is like 10-15 mins? This is after taking 5 mins to release pressure. So total amount of time for two poached eggs to be ready on your plate is 30mins or so? Let me know if I’m missing something because 30 mins for two poached eggs is not viable at all

I have a nina foodi 7 in 1 and that takes 5 minutes to get to pressure with cold tap water then 1 1/2 - 2 minutes to release pressure once pin drops I can open it, so 7 minutes max to make the eggs.
@dawnmrap

You have to choose quick release which takes 1 minute or so
did i miss how many minutes cooking time please, they are good

No cooking time at all. Just preheat and then take eggs out as soon as you are able to open the Ninja. I don’t have a Ninja, but use my stove-top pressure cooker almost daily. I’ll see if I can replicate this method with my trusty Fissler. Love poached eggs; appreciated the video; subscribed and looking forward to more. Many thanks.

Thanks for the comment - as mentioned below, oddly it's set to no minutes. Getting the machine to pressure is long enough to cook the eggs. Sounds weird but it works. 😊

Left handed people only look kak handed , we feel right handlers look the same. Both my hubby and I are both left handed. So that helps. Hehe. Do really agree watching left handlers myself does look a bit different. Hehe

@@hashtagbudgetmeals hehe my hubby and and I are both lefties both our sons are righties, out of the four grandchildren, one only is a leftie, I would have thought maybe one of our boys maybe have been left handed , weird isn’t it we are the only two none of our parents or grandparents were. Bless you, so you have to use all lefty gadgets I guess. Like knifes scissors etc. or blades are wrong side for you. Hehe. Look forward to watching more of your videos thank you. Take care.
Perfect eggs toast not cooked enough for me
Did you forget to toast the bread? 😅
Joke, you can't open lid under pressure, it doesn't work
Battery hen shite eggs on smart price bread.
Hi they look like great eggs but unfortunately you do not understand cookery terms. They are not poached eggs they are steamed eggs. Poaching refers to cooking in a liquid water wine stock etc which these are not. See definition from the web. Poaching is a cooking technique that involves heating food submerged in a liquid, such as water, milk, stock or wine. Poaching is differentiated from the other "moist heat" cooking methods, such as simmering and boiling, in that it uses a relatively lower temperature (about 70-80 °C (158-176 °F)).
Youll appologise or me and my left handed 8 year old will egg your windows

What a lovely comment! - clearly made your mind up from one video. this machine has changed the way we cook - air frier, pressure cooker, slow cooker, steam meals to name but a few. It's a one stop shop for cooking in our kitchen without the need for having loads of other machines out. Thanks for the view though - all adds to growing our channel.

A bellend is someone who thinks that you use the appliance for one thing.
Won't really call it effortless
