Nice recipe. My personal favorite is to use two parts milk kefir and one part cottage cheese blended together with whatever additional ingredients are desired. I especially like dates (blended smooth) as a sweetener. You are getting away from vanilla now, but there are so many variations possible here. I use 2% dairy milk and 2% cottage cheese, but I am sure there are non-dairy equivalents. If I want more fat, I add a nut butter. I appreciate your thoughtful recipes.

I am so happy I found this video! I used to be able to get a tart frozen yogurt at Bloomingdale’s cafeteria in New York, and nowhere else. Now that I no longer live close by, I was sorely missing this treat and I decided to give your recipe a try. I actually wound up buying a Ninja creami too. Well I made this tonight and it was soooo delicious, thank you!

Yum! How long do you leave the pint out to defrost prior to spinning?

I usually do 10 minutes. If it's pretty warm in the house I do five. I live in a very warm place.

Yes. You can spin it again or leave it out for a while.

@@happygutforlife I find reprocessing has no downside. As long as you don't use heavy cream, which can over process into butter, you are left with a very nice result.
