Bought the his week and I get a slight burnt flavor and lots of sediment/grounds in my coffee. Maybe a disposable filter added in would help? It’s not as smooth tasting as my nespresso coffee no matter what grounds I try. I want it to work for us!

A disposable filter definitely filters the grounds out better in my opinion. When using the non-disposable filter I always make a little extra coffee so I never pour the last drop out which normally has the most grounds. Hmm.. we've never had a burnt taste. I'd recommend running a mixture of 3 cups water/3 cups white vinegar through the machine to clear the machine of any burnt taste. Then soak/wash pot and parts in warm/hot water afterwards. Hope that helps!

It takes longer to brew because it it brews at 200 degrees witch only high end coffee make do. That is the main reason expensive coffee makers cost so much.

I dont think this coffee maker has an auto shutoff so I have to manually shut it off. Unless I'm missing something???

Hi Regina! I see this question a lot, so hopefully I can add some clarity here. Warming plates on coffee makers are known as being fire hazards. So Ninja designed the warming plate with an auto shut off after 2 hours. You can adjust the time by holding down the stay warm button. The clock will flash and you will see that it's set for a 2 hour shutoff. By pressing the hour button while the clock is flashing you can adjust the shutoff down or up to 4 hours. While the warming plate automatically shuts off, the coffee maker itself doesn't have an auto shut off. To completely power off the machine you must press the power button. Thanks for the good question and let me know if I was able to add clarity around the auto shut off function.

Can I fill the water and make single cups at a time ?

Yes, of course. You can simply put less water and it’ll automatically make that size cup.

@@indefinitetravel what I mean is will it always use all the water in the reservoir ? Can I fill it , make 1 cup daily until it is empty or will it always just use al the water ?

@@vicsantoro8805 gotcha. I’m understanding now. No, unfortunately there’s not a single cup setting like that. You probably already have looked, but I’d recommend more of a single cup coffee maker like the one I’m linking below bc you can fill the reservoir and make 1 cup at a time without having to refill it each day: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dneplMmIfbrFl5c.htmlsi=fq8vZP9fx6NNUl7B
