It's the huge and brassy ending at 0:48 that I love, as if you've punched to the middle of everything and This!! Is!! It!! Of course they're running the same dopey propaganda as anyone else in the end but this opening makes it sound like every day it's The Biggest News Ever.
This sounds like what WABC-TV in New York, KABC-TV in Los Angeles, KTRK-TV in Houston and WXYZ-TV in Detroit should use nowadays instead of the "Eyewitness News" music package from Gari Media Group (Warner Chappell Production Music - WCPM) as a modernization of "News Series 2000" that the majority of these ABC affiliates (O&Os) in America had been using back in the mid-80s and early 90s.
