I don’t think she is tired honestly she seems tired there’s another interview at the same time I’m assuming (she’s wearing the same clothes) and she’s just as disinterested

There is ONE thing Blanchett cant play…its a conductor… Maybe she could also not play an architect, or a brain surgeon at work….but people think, to portrait the work of a real conductor is somehow possible…and let me tell you, its NOT. It is only a caricature. And people think this film is about music and orchestra work and mentality…well, its not. But another problem is: you cant put Tukur and Nicholson or Di Caprio and Schweiger together to star in the same movie….its like Brazil against Germany in 2014, you know…

your comment is really interesting to me. Why can‘t she play a conductor or other professions? Why do you think there can never be a movie centered around a conductor? I mean there are many movies in which actors portray characters or celebrities from reality who gained success because of being master of particular professions. There are long running tv shows like Greys Anatomy about a group of surgeons. They work pretty well… And what is the core of the movie if it is not about music, orchestra work and mentality..It is about the conversation about cancel culture and drawing a line between the artist and their work, but is that all? Furthermore, I don't really get your comparisons in the last part of your comment..

I think you are overthinking too much...I am pretty sure that Kate Blanchett can play every possible character. She is the perfect actress.

Even i thought the role of a conductor didnt go down too well with Cate. Maybe Nina Hosd would have played that role better. Well just my thought🙂
