All or most of the With Teeth album is about Reznors battle with overcoming drug addiction. This song is like a double edged sword. The same words with two completely different ways to interpret them. Same with a lot of his work like Closer and other songs

Yea, I'm shocked there are this few comments for any NIN vid. Well, I like this live performance for this song. It could just mean that it takes more than love to make a relationship work.

I like to think Trent’s guitar isn’t actually plugged into an amp or anything. He just likes to strum aggressively; it adds to the power.
