Nile is the best death metal band in Earth's history, as far as I'm concerned.

itsybitsyzombie I have high expectations and I think if this song is any indication they are going for catchy riffs and lyrical hooks... Nile just seems more interesting to me as time goes on and I won't miss a show when their tour rolls through.

itsybitsyzombie what some people call classic is beyond me. this is the most uninspired, motionless tech death ever, just like the last two albums. nowhere close to the shivers their early works still send down ur spine if u just listen to it and close ur eyes.
@itsybitsyzombie

cssNuramoN This is what Nile are known for and have sounded like since the beginning, only difference between those albums and their current ones is the clearer production. When Nile announce a new album, this is what I expect to hear.

cssNuramoN who is making "inspired" death metal these days to you, since you are an pro musician and composer yourself?
@cssNuramoN

this is the problem for me. they sound completely predictable and not at all passionate in their compositions, all more and more leaning towards that raw brutality and technicality that people expect from them and not at all trying to do what they used to do best: capture the very same picture that the theme and lyrics of the songs created in audio, resulting in magnificent songs such as masturbating the war god and many many others until ithyphallic as the last of their great albums. this stuff nowadays just mostly sounds dead to me with very little exceptions.
The guitar solo is glorious
The solo & rhythm starting at 3:16 is worthy of the gods
This is probably my favorite song on the new album
This is going to be marvellous. Only Nuclear Blast has my two most loved bands, Nile and Symphony X. I fucking love this track. Feelsy solo and anger.

Nile is one of my favorite bands and I can listen to any album over and over again. This sounds like their older albums and I am in love with it! I can't wait to get the album 2 more days!!!
My nan has loved this band since I can remember- and, now I understand why. These are brilliant!
Another killer Nile effort. Catchy opening riff, solo felt sort of dark and moody, badass ending. Looking forward to unearthing the rest of the album.
Oh yeah!! Sounds like a slam-dunk again! At The Gates of Sethu was my favorite since In Their Darkened Shrines, but this one is stacking up very nicely as a contender to Sethu!

this is amazing!! these guys are incredible live!! The best metal shows I have ever been to are Nile shows!
I love how they sing about the same Egyptian and related things for over 10 years, and how they still uses the same scales and techniques as always... But still sound innovative and always amazing, this is exactly what morbid Angel failed trying to do lmao
I want "I fucking love Nile" written as my epitaph

not by itself. it all depends on you. one can also choose despair in the face of misfortune. but its unwise, because its not constructive. that's the philosophy that Christianity uses to make you feel hopeful and strong.

+Leonidas Diamandopoulos you didn't understand what I said. if you think Christianity empowers you, good for you, but the very idea that doing bad things will net you misfortune and thus humble you while doing good things will net you fortune and thus arrogance is a catch 20 20. it's like any other idea that seeks to explain away random accordanceses such as karma, fate, prophesy, divination, destiny or luck. they are just naïve attempts to excuse the fact that good and bad things happen to good and bad people, it has nothing to do with morality. kind of

I just got into Nile three months ago after their Vile Nilotic Rites album came out. I bought it and I'm loving it. I've also bought their first four albums and now I'm waiting on Ithyphallic and Those Whom The God's Detest to come in the mail.
I can't think of another Nile song that sounds quite like this. I love the mid-tempo march feel, might be a new favorite once I give it a few more listens. Can't wait for the new album!!
A new Nile album! HELL YES!
Nile never disappoint me ... love this track \m/
Evil To Cast Out Evil and Call To Destruction are my favorite songs from What Should Not Be Unearthed \m/
I just cannot imagine what would happen once I have a full listen to such perfection aghh gosh this is gonna kill me joyfully

The guitars are so goooodd!!
I've never had a problem with recognising who is the composer of Nile's song. Great piece of Dallas's riffing.

+Missy Mortiis Well I didn't say that, I was just saying they are more techincal than Plague Rider, and used those songs as only a few examples. Nile is however one of the most techincal while still remaining worth while. The only reason they aren't the very most techincal is because they are smart and remember to actually compose repeatable songs. Origin for example are more conisistantly tech, but are no where near as memorable or creative as Nile. It isn't fun when you listen to an album and then as soon as it's over, you can't remember one thing that actually happened. As far as "most techincal" mixed with "great song writers" I think Nile are among the greatest. Karl, Dallas, and Goerge make up a tech death dream team.
I Love how Destructive Nile's Material Is!!!!!!! \m/
so good
This song is so fun to dance to 💃
Fantastic.
3:17 oh man! that sound! that sound! 3:40 even more awersome and unique.....

Also, Nile hasn't made one bad album. even Gates of Sethu was great (though the sound was a bit off). and this song is realy great. i also like the cover. great one.
Haha. Nice to read a lot of this stuff in the comment section. There is no bad Nile plain and simple, and I could come closer to picking a favorite child before I could pick a favorite Nile song or album.
