That whole album goes hard like this. Crazy amounts of talent to sing and play something that fast and hard at the same time. They sound just as tight and clean live as they do on their studio versions. So definitely check them out live if you haven't yet.

They do everything do damn well. The sound is full for a full 5pc band but performed by a 3pc. The guitar work is stellar, the bassist is a freak of nature with his tapping and arpeggios on a bass. The drums are flawless and fast as f@*k. The Vox from both of them are perfect death metal. What's not to love?

This song is a real proof that metal genre is fully filled with meanings, against many people's opinions that metal is only screaming empty songs. This brutal social criticism shown along this song shouldn't be dismissed. I specially like DF because they are very set on reality issues, political positions and punctual social situations.

+Minh Nhat Nguyen it wont exude the same emotion. We all contain and portray an array of emotions. Pure hate, disgust, and cyincalness is some of them and this music is only but an outlet to release those emotions. However music like this really molds itself into whatever the listener wants it to be. Music like this could totally be applicable to a serial killer or your average joe. Vocals like this is almost like a language, after a while (years even at least for myself) you start to comprehend the lyrics without having to look for references. A good way to learn is to simply read along and then recite the lyrics as you listen.

Great audio engineer but a lot of that has to do with having better technology, being as this album isnt super old. It also mostly has a lot to do with just how great the musicians are, how in sync they are with each other, the instruments/equipment they use, and how they tune them.

John Gallagher a man who does not have long hair, tattoos, piercing, leather jacket , full beard,.. but he composes death metal 10 times better than most Swedish bands with those fancy styles

I've been doing a deep dive into metal (again) and finding new amazing bands left and right. Dying Fetus was one of them I came to identify the fastest, as they've such an insanely percussive element to their music, even down to the pacing of the vocals. It allows them to jam in a way that I haven't really heard from anyone else, and I'm here for it. Excellent work!

Modern metal guitar tone and production is better than ever!

I've always loved how they have slower riffs then insane blast beats used to maximum effect in the same song. And he's wearing a Severe Torture shirt too!!!! What's not to love about them?

The level of metal I am is indecipherable.

That was an absolute beautiful number. I could listen to this all day, it's very slow and calm melody.

Just saw Dying Fetus perform live on their chaos and carnage tour of 2023, and holy shit! Trey Williams is just as much of a beast in real life as he is on recording. I do believe that the sound technician deserves to be put in musician jail because the vocals were so quiet, I couldn’t hear those iconic growls.

This is without a doubt my favorite metal song ever made.

TheEVS80 I'm old, and not keen to all of the different "Core" classifications. My kid's tried to school me, but I think it's pointless to try to classify good music. There's metal on the lighter side, I just call it metal. Then there's dark, heavy and brutal types, all of which I call hardcore. Death, grindcore, black, it's all hardcore! Simplify!

he means the song is hardcore song not a hardcore punk song or metal core. Just hardcore cause the lyrics and meaning.
