Nikon Z Rear Lcd Not Working - " Nikon Denies Issue"
And I quote direct from Nikon -
"Unfortunately, there is no known fault with the Nikon Z5.
If there was then Nikon Corporation would release an Technical Service Advisory and a free of charge repair would be offered to customers.
This is something that is regularly looked in to but currently we do not believe this to be a wide spread issue."

Nikon Z 8, turned off monitor screen on back of camera. With monitor box rechecked the screen is still black. Only the viewfinder works.???
Your not the only one. Nikon refuse to admit there is a known issue. Happened to both of my Nikon z6ii

I have the same problem. I didn’t drop it down or hit it and the monitor started to look like yours
Add me to the list. I bought a z7ii about 18 months ago. A few times, I turn it on and the lcd screen stays black but it always came on right away if I shut it off and started it again. Also I noticed many times if I flipped vertical, the LCD would go black. Flip it horizontal and it would come back. Now today on a shoot, I flip the camera on and the screen won't come on at all. Tried literally everything, nothing would get it to come back on. An hour later, it's coming on again magically. All in all, I've been completely dissatisfied with the z7ii. Indoor white balance SUCKS on it as well. Now to hear Nikon is denying the issue, maybe I need to start looking elsewhere for my next camera. Tired of this.

It’s a massive shame. There is obviously a huge issue. I’m considering sacking off my z6ii (currently my second body to my z8) and going canon
I just had the same problem. i was on the mountain i immediately turned off the camera and turned it back on and the problem was solved. I think it happened because of weather conditions, 4 degrees Celsius and 80% humidity I've had a z5 for a month now, I hope it doesn't happen again, Anyway, I was dissatisfied

This is a shame because I thought my z8 was better built. Really not sure if I’ll ever buy another Nikon
