I purchased a D7200 yesterday as my first digital SLR and found your tutorial extremly informative and useful. There were a number of settings I wanted to change but hadn't worked out how to, from browsing the user guide, but your tutorial got me there straightaway. Many thanks indeed.

I've had a little experience with DSLR, except I used to use Canon thinking 100% Canon was best, then I came across this Nikon D7200 and felt that it wasn't so bad after all. Thanks so much for this. I just bought a semi-used 7200 and....goodness, I am into networking/computers but using this camera, even with the manual, is like trying to do brain surgery for me hahah. It's gonna be fun taking pictures of birds, when I finally get used to using it.
