Nikon D7000 in 2022: Dazzling DSLRs
Examples from the Nikon D7000 paired with the AF Nikkor 50mm f1.8D. They produce sharp images and lovely colors. The D7000 is from 2010 and has a CMOS 16.2MP cropped sensor. The camera and lens seem to grab as much color and detail as they possibly can. All photographs are JPEGs. I understand why for some people this camera is their first choice. I thought the camera had shutter lag because the shutter is slow, like some film cameras, but I’ve grown to like it.
Please subscribe so I may grow the channel, thank you !

@@sleepyslideshows thank you, 😊
My D7000 was my best friend for years until I upgraded to the D750. While I really enjoy the D750, my connection with the D7000 was stronger. It got me through some really hard times and I grew a ton using it. It is a great camera, my husband and children use it. It does have back focusing issues that I couldn’t seem to get to go away.
Really lovely photos😊

Thank you so much!
I have the same combination. I do like the 1.8D, so much character.

Character is the right word!
I bought a D500 about 2 years ago and I still have my D7000 as a back up camera for Sports Photography. I always thought the D7000 was a great camera but put it up against the D500 and you realise how things have improved over 10 years or so. I do find with a smaller zoom lens it still is a crackin’ camera but if I stick the 200mm - 500mm f5.6 lens on it or even the 80-200 f2.8 lens it does lack. Having said that I have never had a problem with it in all the years I have had it apart from the battery door won’t stay closed because the tiny tab on the actual camera body has snapped off so the tab on the door has nothing to close behind. Some nice shots in your video 😊 Cheers Quinny
I just got one I can't wait to bring it on a photoshoot.
Beautiful 😍

They’re really affordable now. I got mine for £180 GBP on eBay a couple of months ago. Upgrade from D40. Well worth the upgrade, so much easier to use with all the controls on the body and not hidden in menus.

Don't buy one. When they get old they will develop focus issues. Google about this issue.

@@Bus2000 I suggest you check this out. Copy and paste the following into the search bar in KZread. How To Fix Nikon D7000 focus issues
I still have my D7000 but suddenly my camera has focus issues. On Google a lot of hits if I search for this problem. Setting AF manually doesn't solve the problem. To bad I liked the D7000 very much.

Hello and sorry to hear about the focusing issue. Here's a video addressing it, perhaps you've already viewed it but hope it helps: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ppmosrmhY7K5paQ.html Kind regards, Sleepy

@@sleepyslideshows Thanks. I found this video before but this doesn't help. I can get the picture in focus but the image stays soft some how even with manual focus. Did everything I could find. Reading internet I'm not the only one. I think the CCD/Sensor or electronics go bad over time.
