A good Abbe Koenig pair can easily outperform these. The Nikon EDG series for example is brighter and they use a normal Roof Prism. Nikons WX 7x50 IF are pretty much the best pair of binos money can buy, much better than swarovskis NL or anything else. The only problem is that its expensive. Anything with 7x50 will be bright, the magic is to make it bright, lightweight, with beautiful colors and excellent sharpness :) We are right now working on an affordable Abbe Koenig option which should be available soon.

Thank you for chiming in. It shall be done. I will make a low light binocular vid with the most cost effective binoculars in line. I am testing a few more units from Visionking, Olympus, Bresser, etc.. and I want to give you at least 5 great options below the $250 mark. Happy Viewing!

Sorry, but you're dead wrong with the night cabability of the Nikon EX 7x50. It is a little better than the Steiner 8x56! with 8x56 you'll have 7mm for the eye while the 7x50 gives you over 7mm for your eye (whether you can use this is another question)! But mathematically a 7x50 should perform better in low light than a 8x56! 😇

No siempre tiene que ser así, además de la pupila de salida intervienen otros factores ,como el tipo de recubrimientos , tanto en las lentes y los prismas , no es lo mismo un 7x50 de gama media o baja que un 8x56 de gama alta
