Edison published work and inventions of those under him as his own. Edison was obviously intelligent but was more interested in stealing work and trying to discredit Tesla for his own financial gains.

No one had such an impact in our lives Some of his inventions are still classified today!

That sounds much more like a microwave device. A LASER (light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation) wouldn't have such a capability to cook a heart. Don't know how it could cause a heart attack either.

Thanks to Mr Tesla - did ya know you can make electricity with 20 iron rods 3/4 in the ground while the ither 1/4 is connected to copper wire which is connected to an iron rod stuck in a tree? Dont just look it up, but do it! You'll see it produces leas then 12 volts, but you can up the voltage with more iron and copper and a few extra trees. Got that one from college 20 plus years ago from the Teala files. It does infact work

A great physicist and genius born 200 yrs b4 the world was ready for him. As I see it, there are three things using low tech towards sustainable energy. One involves perfecting a super-efficient condensation in a closed unit, so Kramer Junction's type of solar energy can be harnassed. One involves daming bays or inlets in the Bering and other places and creatingh a dam-tunnel system. I once calcualated 288T pounds of kinnetic energy moving back and fourth to displace only a two square mile area of water with a high tide of 24 feet; whereas, there are places averaging (if memory serves) over 30 feet in AK. One involves creating superconductive material (metallic hydrogen) using magnetic force, which is doable if the pressure can be arranged to be maintained for a certain period of time. The first two I view as doable. The third one is still in the theoretical stage--even though Harvard has created this here to fore unknown element. Deuritium fusion (using seawater) might also be one path, but it also might end up like the Tokamak, which is always 25 years away every 25 years. Low tech efficient methods like the first two mentioned seem to me to be worthy, and Matallic hydrogen will allow energy to be sent for long distances without resistance. Just musing.
