Nikola ($NKLA) Signs California Hydrogen Refueling Agreement with FirstElement Fuel

Nikola (NASDAQ: NKLA), a leader in zero-emission transportation, and FirstElement Fuel have signed a 10-year deal to refuel Nikola's hydrogen trucks at FirstElement's Oakland refueling station.
Through this deal, FirstElement becomes an authorized Nikola Fueling Solutions Partner, offering fueling services at their heavy-duty truck station, capable of serving around 200 trucks daily, and will boast the world's first heavy-duty truck H70 fast-fill lane for efficient hydrogen refueling.
Nikola's wider plan involves collaborating with partners to secure hydrogen supply, transport, storage, and refueling sites. This initiative significantly contributes to California's carbon emission reduction goals, especially in ports, and supports federal emission targets.
Nikola President of Energy, Joe Cappello stated: “Our customers now have access to fuel at FEF's first heavy-duty site in Oakland, California. With additional stations planned, this signifies a powerful synergy between Nikola and FEF, driving us towards a shared vision of a future with cleaner and more sustainable solutions."
Nikola is transforming commercial transportation with Class 8 vehicles, including battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks.

I agree, though I do see it taking 30-50 years to really get there. for two reasons. One, as the backbone infrastructure needs to be built. Two, I think the thing that will cause it to take off, is in a few decades, when crude oil extraction prices go up in costs as it gets harder and harder to obtain and crude oil loses its monetary edge and Hydrogen production equals the same or better for production price.

Not exactly bullish for NKLA. True zero is a competitor of "HYLA". The fact that they are partnering with True Zero tells me they can't build, supply and operate under the HYLA brand like they had claimed.
