40pts on zero turnovers in the playoffs is an absolutely mind-blowing stat. Especially against the DPOY and the #1 ranked defense in the league.

It’s especially impressive after how well Minnesota defended him in games 1 and 2. Joker had his “Jordan rules” moment and was turning the ball over a lot. Three games later, Jokers not only back on track but putting up 40 and 13 with zero turnovers against the same defense that we thought had a shot. Beyond Minnesota, I don’t think there’s a defense left that can slow him down. Thunder might have took 3 of 4 from Denver but they never bothered Joker

Michael Jordan won the NBA MVP award five times during his career. Here are the Defensive Player of the Year (DPOY) award winners for each of those years: 1988: Michael Jordan (Chicago Bulls) Interestingly, in 1988, Michael Jordan himself won both the MVP and the Defensive Player of the Year awards. 1991: Dennis Rodman (Detroit Pistons) Rodman was known for his exceptional rebounding and defensive prowess, contributing significantly to the Pistons' defensive dominance during that period. 1992: David Robinson (San Antonio Spurs) Robinson was a dominant defensive presence in the league, known for his shot-blocking and overall defensive skills. 1996: Gary Payton (Seattle SuperSonics) Payton, nicknamed "The Glove," was renowned for his perimeter defense and is the only point guard to have won the DPOY award. 1998: Dikembe Mutombo (Atlanta Hawks) Mutombo was famous for his shot-blocking ability and his signature finger-wag after blocking shots. He was a dominant defensive force in the paint. These players were recognized for their exceptional defensive contributions during the years when Michael Jordan was honored as the league's Most Valuable Player.

What impressed me about his offense waa that Jocik didn’t repeat many if any of his offensive moves. He shot from various locations, used his right and left hand, went over and under, such an arsenal of shots, deep bag. What impressed me about his assists was that most came during transition which meant that he was bringing the ball up the court and controlling the game in the full court and half court.
