Fun fact: Did you know Nikola Jokic currently has the most assist per game among centers in NBA history? (Minimum 300 games played). At the time of this post, Nikola aka The Joker has averaged 5.5 assist per game. That is a whole number more than Wilt Chamberlain at 4.4 assist per game.
Before I started this project, I honestly didn't have much knowledge on Jokic, mainly because he plays on the West Coast with Denver but I did have a chance to watch him and the Nuggets take on the Jazz in the Bubble 2 days ago in a thrilling game 1 of the first round of the NBA playoffs where the only thing more exciting than his battle with Rudy Gobert was the showdown between Donovan Mitchell(57 Points) and Jamal Murray(20 points in the 4th quarter and Overtime).
Denver has a very deep and talented team at pretty much every position. It will be interesting how the next couple years play out but I would imagine if they walk away with anything less than a championship during that time it will be somewhat of a disapointment to Denver fans. I enjoyed doing this project because I got to discover the funny personality of Jokic who previously I knew nothing about. Easily, my favorite part of the video is him and Luka being interviewed on the bus on the way to the all-star game.
