He really saved a lot of time and money by taking 6 hours to print each tile, for a total of 19 tiles. WAY more cost effective for a game that repeatedly shows in this video is less than $30 on Amazon.

@jacobbabson6786

@@WrekTaFyr I mean, think about it. The materials probably cost a decent amount and each of the tiles took 6 hours to make. Think of that as work hours, maybe around 15 dollars after taxes. That is about 90 dollars. This whole thing would not be worth it at all if the point of it was to save money, it just looks cool.
@GGA007Gaming

Would you wanna spend 50 bucks for a peace of shit or spend 90 bucks and a fun project for quality. Most settlers of catan board games are shit quality.
Soo an easier fix for the magnets falling out problem would be to insert the magnets then throw felt on the bottom of the tiles to seal the holes all at once and now the tiles will sit on a table really nicely.

I really want a super long video of just Niko talking about something. Any time he talks about something he enjoys, such as painting, or the way he likes to do things, like the way he prefers to manage his company, ect. Niko just seems wise, and is super enjoyable to listen too.
Nico talking about painting could put me to sleep. Honestly him when he's just chilling and talking from the heart about stuff is so calming and inspiring. Wants to make me get a 3d printer and start making stuff.
Niko: "Pretty expensive for a tabletop game." Me: *Cries in Warhammer 40k Imperial Guard*
Niko's little monologue about painting just captured my soul for a minute 😂
Every time Niko is just doing a solo project and talking, everyone just takes a moment to relax. It's beautiful.
I think i could listen to Niko talk about absolutely anything and I would feel peaceful. Such a calming voice and chill way of talking.
I just realized how much this channel is about Art 😅 The art of filmmaking or the smaller stuff from everyday like painting a 3D model for a board game and we keep learning from you guys every other day, Keep it up sons

Well they are a filmmaking company so, yup!
this is absolutely my favorite video in a long time. Just so pretty. The past videos have all been amazing but this is my favorite for sure.
First of all, Niko is the second coming of Bob Ross. Secondly, the fact that this channel has garnered 1/6th of the views that corridor's main channel has is absolutely crazy. This is a second channel! Your vlog formula f*ckin works
Things like Niko just talking about painting is why I always enjoy this channel. The beautiful camera work and effort put into making every episode so calming and interesting makes the vlogs so fantastic to watch. You fellas are one of the few channels that I honestly never can get enough of.
I do all my drawings and animations on a Wacom, so it's all digital art, Recently purchased model kits and Ive forgotten how peaceful it is to crate stuff physically with your hands. So relaxing.

One of the best videos so far. Niko, I really really like your Settlers Set. You're doing an awesome job and the ramble about troubleshooting, the paint, doing something analog etc. was great. :)
Dude those Settlers pieces look UNREAL. So cool. And talk about being resourceful with the whole magnet issue and getting the buckyballs to roll around again. We love seeing re-engineering at work!

@saint-cetacean
4 жыл бұрын
@@ericnorris8704 What you're really looking at is chromatic aberration, which is caused by partial refraction of different wavelengths (ie colors) of light. Because of the more complex elements in a zoom lens (especially when you've got the focal length changing CONTINUOUSLY), they tend to be more prone to these refractions, which usually appear as a magenta or green halo around high contrast edges (shooting a raven against a bright blue sky was the shot that really opened my eyes to CA). For stuff like social media, or KZread videos (ie downstream consumption that involves HEAVY compression- seriously, ask any photographer about how they feel about FB image quality and cover your ears quick), it's almost impossible to notice when CA is present or not (especially on modern lenses with good QC and with modern editing software that can automatically profile-correct to remove probably 90% of CA), but if you're producing content either for large format prints OR for medium-to-large screens (A film festival, say?), it QUICKLY becomes noticable. Fun fact! Cuttlefish, despite only having one receptor type in their eyes, actually make use of chromatic aberration as the light passes through their funky irises to help distinguish different colors, giving them pseudo-color vision and allowing them to camouflage against complex-colored backgrounds!
I feel like everyone could learn from niko, he’s such a cool guy and I feel he could teach anyone something new.

Happy to have someone visually compare EF lenses to Cinema lenses. Most videos i've seen highlight the smooth aperture ring as being the main advantage to Cinema grade lenses. Also happy for Niko's Bob Ross segment regarding the freedom of engaging in recreational creativity. Without getting too sappy, each video you guys put out is inspiring. Never been awake for a new video, so exciting!
I just have some feedback: This popped up in my recommendations and I wanted to see the cool 3d Printed Catan set, how it was made, etc. and you spend a large chunk of this video talking about... camera lenses??? It's very boring to me, as I thought I was going to get a 3D printing project video, and at least do me the courtesy of titling the video in a way that would tell me I'm going to get a bunch of information about the subtle differences of camera lenses. anyways i'm pretty sure you won't read this or care but i'm grumpy and this is my only power to express my mild frustration.

Hey guys! Big fan here. Just wanted to say I really like the style of your videos. I think you can learn one or two things from "Sovietwomble". He is a great youtuber and does great things with subtitles in his videos. For example he tracks bullets and adds little *pew* writings on them. It looks really cool and dynamic and they would look dope on Nerf videos. Just watch a couple videos of him. I believe you guys would like them too. Anyway keep up with good work!

Hey Niko just wanted to say, it makes me happy to see you being passionate about art. The pleasure of creating something nice and literally doing it simply because it is nice is pretty heartwarming to see; that same feeling is also what got me into art in the first place many years ago, and it's always so great to see others getting caught by it. Keep up the great work dude.
