Nikki also killed it in the Bruce Willis, Alec Baldwin and Rob Lowe roasts.

It was 3 hours......many were good a couple were bad. Nikki by far was the absolute funniest. Her timing and relentless pursuit of roast perfection shined through. She was the only person who received a standing ovation after they were finished and the only one to receive one for a single joke. She fucking crushed it.

She’s said in some podcast interviews that this roast has changed her life, her name getting out there more and she deserved it!!! 👏

Nikki is an absolute beast. She and Tony Hinchcliff also wrote about 70% of everyone else's jokes at this roast.

@@jn3697 Na. Nikki and Tony both wrote all their own stuff for this roast, plus they wrote quite a bit for several other people along with Jeff Ross. Same with most of the later CC roasts. In fact, Nikki was testing a lot of her roast material at the Comedy Store just a few months ago, along with a few bits she wrote for Bert.

Highly doubt that. Where'd you get that number? I'm not sure Nikki wrote anyone else's jokes. The writers are listed at the end of the show in the credits (as they are on the Comedy Central roasts as well). Hinchcliff is a regular writer, but I'm not sure about Nikki. Sarah Tiana of Roast Battle fame is also a regular.

The Tom Brady Roast was everything you could want in a roast...awkward, cringe, dark, deep, OMG, and gut wrench humor. It is probably my favorite 3 hours of comedy. Every comedian brought it as did his teammates. My Top five roasters: 1. Nikki Glaser (MVP) 2. Tony Hinchcliffe 3. Drew Bledsoe 4. Julian Edelman 5. Tie. Sam Jaye/Rob Gronkowski I left off Kevin Hart simply because he was the host...but goddamn he started the evening with such a beautiful style and helped the dais become so easy to go in on ANYONE. His ability to keep the audience engaged and everyone to keep going was fantastic.

Good review. I agree with your top 2, and Sam Jay and Gronk being good as well. Will Ferrell was pretty funny also. Segura and Kreischer shit the bed. The football players were surprisingly capable.

Nikki, Tony, Andrew, Jeff and Edelman for a non comedian were the best. I had to ff Coach, Tom was boring too. Overall though, this has to be one of the best toast. I’m glad they brought in Andrew. People need to understand what a roast is. You can see the people who don’t get know. The real ones who laugh even when they are getting roasted.

Kevin Hart came up in comedy with Patrice Oneal, Colin Quinn, Bill Burr, Jim Norton and Tony Robinson. Those dudes are way more killer. He is used to it.
