Maybe Nike waiting to give those exclusives to the two teams in the championship? Does Nike do that for the men’s college teams as well or do they (Nike) only really give such deals to professional players rather than teams?

no, they signed these specific 3 players to their own Nike deals outside of the schools. Plus some of the semifinal final games get bigger ratings than the Finals…waiting wouldn’t be smart because two teams that don’t draw the same sized audience could end up there. They do sign college and high school players now, since NIL deals became allowed

I feel like Nike has had a lot of misses lately. I think they are turning a lot of people away giving away gr colorways to athletes while not making enough for paying consumers to buy. They should also give better pe colorways or in the case of Clarke she should at least have a coloway that is available through Nike id like they used to do with other players.
