laces are often overlooked by brands.., rarely.., but sometimes I have to switch up laces from older shoes, that happen to be lying around

I ended getting the Invincible 3 in a great Black Friday deal and will see how good itnis when compared to my old Gel-Nimbus 25 and Wave Sky 7 . About the heel sliding, I believe that will help by also using Nike's GRIP socks. These socks make the running in any shoes. I got to be extra fun with the more stability, comfortable, and especially the lockdown goes up drastically.

That’s a great suggestion. I typically run in the Nike Spark socks, which have a little extra padding that I like

I agree with your prediction. The Invincible 4 will 100% happen and it will be an upper refresh only. I would expect something similar to what is on the new Infinity Run 4, which has a less "waxy" flyknit, but a similar weave to it, with a much more padded heel counter (very similar to the Pegasus 40 heel counter but not as ridiculously overbuilt as what was on the Invincible 1/2). I wouldn't hold your breath on the laces. The Infinity Run 4 has much worst laces, back to Invincible 2 territory. The Invincible 5 will likely drop the heel clip in favor of a more structured midsole around the heel, like what Nike has done on the Infinity Run 4. Likely we may see more stack added pushing the shoe over the 40mm limit, which for a trainer doesn't really matter. I would expect it to stay moslty ZoomX, but wouldn't be surprised to see a little ReactX foam show up around the heel area to provide more structure with the heel clip removal. I love these prediction videos!

Great insight! I think people will be pretty disappointed with what will amount to minimal changes in the V4. The Infinity Run 4 is very interesting, especially in terms of what it might mean for the Invincible. Thanks for watching!

@@FreshBrewRunClub I think some of the engineering done in the Infinity 4 is positive for the future of the In invincible series… but as far as the Infinity 4 goes it’s now more of a fitness shoe you can run in as opposed to a performance trainer like the Invincible 3. I cover that transition, in detail, in my Infinity 4 review on my channel. Keep up the great work! 🙌🏻

my prediction of nike invincible 4, it will be invincible 3 midsole with almost identical alphafly 3 knit upper......perhaps with a brand new outsole design

It really sucks. Those shoes last 3 -5 months! I had several pairs of second version, but now I am out… Fingers crossed that fourth model is out soon.

I think people had very high expectations after the Invincible 1 and 2s, and were disappointed when the 3s were not exactly the same.

Make it like the v1 or v2 and it will be a win

100% 3 is not a patch on the 1 or 2.Feels like a cheaper shoe particularly the upper but more importantly the bounce people loved has all but gone.

I loved V1 and v2.......Nike destoyed the shoe with V3. To much slip.....to Stiff and alot harder and less forgiving on your legs.

Definitely a stiffer shoe. I remember a lot of people saying the V1 and V2 were too slow, and I suspect the V3 was a direct response to that feedback. Curious to see where the V4 goes. Thanks for watching

New Balance More V4. Great for long/easy runs and I’ve even done speed/tempo workouts due to some ankle pain from my Vaporfly 1s

Needs to address the weight and heel slip issues if it's going to be good.

I’m not sure they’ll mess with the weight; that would mean reducing the foam which is kind of what sets the shoe apart. Heel slip will be fixed or else it will be a really bad update

@@FreshBrewRunClub Its strange. Everyone complains about the heel slip in I-3, but you and I seem to be the only humans alive who doesn’t have this problem. I tie a runners knot and it fits great.

Yeah I’m not sure what’s going on. Everyone’s feet are different, but I’m almost 300 miles in and I have no issues since tying the runner’s knot (although you could argue that a runner’s knot shouldn’t be necessary at all for a $180 USD shoe).

@@FreshBrewRunClub Well I have only been running for 2 months, and I’m brand new to all this. Yet I have assumed that if you are going for a run in running shoes, then you should tie a runners not. That’s why the extra eyelet is there. If a runners knot “wasn’t necessary”, the designer would not have bothered to put an extra eyelet there in the first place.

This shoe isn’t out yet, and I haven’t run in the Nimbus (yet). I’ve heard the Nimbus is a bit “softer” than the current Invincible 3, so it’s just what you prefer. I like the Invincible 3 for longer runs

It’ll probably have a swallow tail skinny-er heel. Same midsole
