@FreshBrewRunClubКүн бұрын
It’s fairly flat (based on the 2023 course), with the exception of the bridge to Canada (at 2 miles) and tunnel back to the United States (at mile 7). Some elevation maps actually show the bridge as a dip, because it’s going by the riverbed. Otherwise, elevation stays within about a 25 foot difference.

These work REALLY well if you’re a mid to fore foot striker at whatever your fast speeds are. Recovery and easy paces not so much, at least for me, but they are a racing shoe after all. The squeaking is normal too, but it can go away like you said. Took them out for a first long run the other day (19 miles) to test them on very tired legs, in the hottt sun, and doing a 5k earlier in the day with other shoes. My average heart rate for all my corresponding paces was anywhere from 3 to 7 bpm’s lower than normal while maintaining a slightly faster speed overall. These help you sustain faster speeds! I can’t wait to taper down for my race and wear them on marathon day with a full fresh set of legs! We’ll see.
