Duralon was a soft green rubber compound built in the mid 2000s to aid in absorbing impact upon footstrike for running, (yes both the Vomero 5 And Presto served as actual running shoes in the running silo back then) and both shoes were engineered by the same Nike running footwear folks that worked with Tinker Hatfield who designed and created the presto, which is why there’s similarities in the build and construction. The presto originally came in shirt sizes which was a cool concept but the shoe itself eventually went on to become a lifestyle shoe and replaced by the Nike free as a predecessor with actual biomechanical function and benefit over the years. Correction, that’s Tinker’s younger brother Tobie that created and designed the Presto.

Man these are nice. Especially the grey. Love gray you can never go wrong with it. Anuddda great pick up 👑🔥🔥🔥

i had my eye on that same vomero colorway, but completely forgot about them. never looked into the 'air' in the title...just accepted it and moved on. it did seem odd though and now that mystery is solved so thanks for that.

Nice video! Looking at some in-depth reviews of this and this video is amazing. How does the upper feel? is it comfortable, cause it looks like a neoprene fabric that may not be comfortable

Very comfy

I’ve had several pair and I love them!! The one down side to them is the plastic toe pulls away from the neoprene in all the pairs I have had. I also had one that got a tiny thorn in the top and it ended up making a huge hole over time

I had more than 15 pair, and have 2 right now from nike... Never had that problem with plastic🤔I wear 12, I'm 6'6, 240 lbs...I think sole durability and overall durability is great.

I’ve owned 5 pairs including one of the Acronym’s. Such a comfortable shoe!

These shoes come in whole sizes and not 1/2. I'm 10.5 myself. But looking at your shoes, it looks like your toes are slammed in the front. Comfortable?

Mine fit perfectly if your a 10.5 i’d go 11. Prestos is weird ive seen then some in number sizes and also small, medium etc.

I wear these to work all the time. They work perfect. My feet never hurt when I get home. My only complaint about the presto is if you wear daily, they last about 4-6 months then time for new pair. But prestos definitely good for work

@@dbkicks the triple black had the old school Small, Medium, large sizing. I went with M (10-11) instead of L (11-12) and they were too tight. But from what I have seen they put the actual size.

Same thing, I tried some 10’s on but they had a good amount of space in the front. They didn’t have a 9 for me to try on. What did you get? And what do you think
