Definitely one of the best Air Max 1s of the past few years, a shame about the synthetic suede tho, they should've gone all-in for the materials

These are nice! Really wanted them but missed out on them. May go on resale but some good shoes coming up too.

It was a swing and a miss for me on SNKRS, but I do agree that these are Beautiful shoes. I'm typically not a fan of either format of the Air Max 1, but this colorway grabbed me. 😊 Thanks for yet another Superb review, my Brother!!

Taken an L on every pair of the Robinson's and resale is well beyond my price point. For what is an important day in Baseball and society in general, it sucks that Nike limit these. I'm currently ranking these 3rd, the Dunks 2nd and last year's AF1 1st.

Those are cool! Better than the dunks in my opinion.

Actually hit a home run and got them for retail. Ended up swapping the laces to the navy wax laces instead! A really clean color way and some nice details to honor a legend.

Great review as always brother. I was happy that my wife hit on my size. I actually prefer to go up 1/2 a size on AM1s and I'm glad I did on these as well. The shoe was very nice and it was a great tribute to Jackie Robinson. I would have preferred authentic materials on all panels over synthetic but they still did a good job with the entire collab. A beautiful addition to my collection for sure. Now if Nike would drop a Roberto Clemente collab next, that would be amazing!! I think it's only fitting considering the legacy both men left behind.

Materials should have been a lot better for the price. Too many synthetics. Got my pair in hoping the shoe was made out of more premium leathers but the shoe is mostly synthetic.

Help me understand. Just for context, are you mad at these shoes specifically or kicks generally manufactured at a fraction of their retail cost? Respectfully, asking for a friend. Personally, I think these are quite nice, esp compared to many other AM1 releases.
