Emppu shines on this, he is amazing guitarist.

Too few reactions notice the drums. Jukka was the drummer until 2014 when he had to quit due his insomnia. Kai Hahto from Wintersun is no slouch, though. But Jukka never gets enough love for his incredible work on songs like this one and Ghost Love Score! Thank you for noticing :-)

Kai is amazing drummer but Jukka's style of drumming and energy he brings is just something else! I miss Jukka so much :( But if he had to go I'm so happy Kai replaced him, but still I'm hopping to see Jukka back one day, he is Nightwish and drumming legend!

@@thesaltybeard1793 hehe I see what you did there 😁 but recently Tuomas said in the interview that Jukka is just fine these, but Jukka said himself he is not coming back to the band, he quit playing for good :( he is now business manager for the band. But let's hope we will see him playing again one day, at least one concert for good old days

One thing to remember was when this was recorded, Floor had not been singing with the band for that long. Floor Jansen is the THIRD singer for this band since the keyboard player Tuomas (pronounced as Too-oh-mas) formed it back in 1996. So NIghtwish has been around for a VERY LONG TIME. Nightwish is one of the bands credited with the creation of the Metal Sub-genre called Symphonic Metal (according to wikipedia). All of the band members were originally from Finland, but Floor Jansen is Dutch and she is from the Netherlands, and Troy (the woodwinds player and rhythm guitarist) is from England. Nightwish best recorded concert to date is from WEMBLEY ARENA In London England which is on the Vehicle of Spirit DVD/BLU-RAY Set. Any song from the Wembley Show is what is highly recommended. Tuomas the keyboard player and the Guitarist Emppu, are two of the bands original members. Marco the bass player (looks like a Viking!) came a few years after the bands creation and has been with them ever since. The woodwinds player Troy joined the band the same time Floor did, and Kai the new drummer in the Wembley Show replaced the original drummer Jukka who is in this concert from 2013. Jukka had to leave the band for severe medical reasons, but remains as the bands Manager to this day. Kai the new drummer in the Wembley Show was hand picked by Jukka to replace him and Kai is one of his close friends. Nightwish has a HUGE following over the years and MANY albums which nearly all have gone platinum. My wife and I have seen them 3 times in concert, all 3 concerts about 2 hours in length, and they are ONE HELL of a wild ride. My wife and I were lucky enough to be front row center for all 3 concerts, and had VIP tickets and got to meet the band before the show. They are all some of THE most humble people we have ever met. I would recommend, any song from Wembley Arena Show. Ever Dream, Nemo, I Want My Tears Back, Storytime, Elan and especially the song called Greatest Show On Earth, are some of the songs I would recommend. Remember, In Symphonic Metal the guitar is NOT the primary instrument, it is the Keyboads which reproduces what you might call as a movie-scorish type sound which is a trademark sound for this band. Welcome to the world of Nightwish.

Warms me to hear you mention Jukka (the drummer that also goes by a Nightwish Army nickname "The Pirate") The most passionate drummer i have experienced in a long long time. An absolute showman,as well as playing on point,and just super fast if required. Only thing that got the better of him,was insomnia. He has been trying to fully recover ever since,but is now at least in the management of Nightwish,so he is with the band still. Just not as a fulltime drummer......i know he dreams of having that comeback,and i would personally love that too! Kai who is the new drummer,is a flawless drumming machine,all the respect and love to him as well. He does the band justice,but its still not Jukka......absolutely love Jukkas drumming. Jukka and the lead guitarist Emppu was the natural jokers within the band,allways doing goofy,silly things or cracking jokes. Wonderful guy as well. That got me thinking,to see Jukka up on his feet interacting with the crowd to get them going: Nightwish - Bless The Child Wacken 2013. Funfact: Floor comes running in after a dress change in that song. Does she mess up? Sound out of breath? You watch and decide (i know the answer)😏One of my favourite songs by them,its soo atmospheric but at the same time heavy. Or you could allways go heavier: Song Of Myself (Wacken 2013) Parts of this goes even heavier then Romanticide,wich i now learned that you love.

Jukka has said he can't do the touring so he most likely will not return. Kai was his drum tech. Kai is technically a better drummer but is not a showman like Jukka. That is what I miss when they perform. Technically perfect but less emotional.

You Have gone down a rabbit hole from which there is NO ESCAPE!!!!!!! I discovered Nightwish about 10 years ago and i can't get enough!!!!!!! You need to checkout some earlier stuff with Tarja on Vocals . more of an Operatic voice but still amazing!!! Ghost love score and romanticide were written when Tarja was with them. Floor does a fantastic version of them . Floor's voice always gives me gooebumps no matter how many time i hear Her sing!!!

Suzi , Nightwish always make you be with jaws opened. They 're addiction . Romanticide is a good example of that. Jukka , the drummer here , is the original drummer of the band but unfortunately he left the band cause of issues with insomnia. The Pirate as is his nickname , will be missed.

Storytime, Ghost River, same concert just to add but last song I listened to has always been my favorite. Try Floor Jansens previous band, Revamp live at Graspop 2010start with Distain, Trial of Monsters, Millions, crowd is a bit lame but her band was really great and she wrote a lot of music. Ever After her first band she was in really good. The broke up or disbanded and she formed Revamp. Good reaction!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

well Suzi, Floor adds to the story told by Tuomases Lyrics not only her tonality but also, movement, looks and "crowd control" . The Magic that happens is that Nightwish is a "real" band not one or two stars who need some friends to fuel there ego, Tuomas genius and Poet as he is also has the Love and Trust in his Bandmembers and friends to not only judge his creations but he also knows that every one of them will bring in there best and there own "soul" to add there part to his ideas. That "purple Guitar" is and ESP Horizon specialy made for Emppu, ESP every other decade sells a Emppu Vuroninen Signature Model heavily Limited in Numbers and it usually quickly reaches collectors value

btw Suzi (or any other wolf hunter reading) i have a video about Nightwishs gear and stage setup if you intrested i link it here. if you wanna get into this watch the poet and the Pendulum (AFTER you read about the breakup from ther first leadsinger Tarja) you will not only be floored but deeply moved i imagine (tuomas wrote the song while in a deep depression as a from of Musical suicide as he couldnt do it in real life...thank god) and Song of myself WITH the read Diary entrys from Tuomas and his friends while he overcame that depression and after or befor that remember to get your spirits up again while wathing shudder befor the beautyful in wembley, and watching Emppu and Tuomas duke it out in a solo battle^^ and i want my tears back for shedloads of good times and fun best regars Nightingales "Dark Poet"

When you listen to the poet and the pendulum live at Wembly 2015 I recommend doing some research on the song. It was written when they were getting rid of their first singer. it is a very deep song and it expresses all of the emotions and thoughts of the keyboard player during this time.

@@TheWolfHunterZ I'm in between Orlando and Daytona beach but I wouldn't come here now the heat is ungodly LOL! I would say get down here for biketoberfest in Daytona but I think it will cancelled this year 😭 Bike week and the Daytona 500 fans I think would welcome you with open arms👍

All the songs from this wacken 2013 concert are worth reacting to. Few of my favourites : "my walden" tampere live for their celtic wipe. "Ghost river" for awesome duo with bassist. Stargazers tampere live for just fun. "Greatest show on earth" for longer musical journey.
