Great comment! You got it right there. Now i hope that the americans who most of the time stick with their favorite artist will also findout other great bands like nightwish. Nightwish is so diverse. Next time i hope they do not pause during floorgasms

What will really blow your mind is actually watching the WHOLE Wacken 2013 concert and you're so pissed that you missed possibly one of the greatest concerts EVER!!!!! But thank GOD, they recorded it for the rest of us to enjoy this piece of magic caught in time. Rock on and stay heavy!!! T

They played "Ghost River" then "Ever Dream" and then "Storytime" right in a row at that show. It was an wonderful sequence in an amazing concert.

It seems like most people haven't caught it, but in that run on chorus near the end of "Storytime" is the first time I've ever seen (or heard) Floor being just a little bit breathless; it's very faint (which is why most people don't notice), but she's a little lacking in her usual power (which is understandable, since a big chunk of the song uses that near-nonstop chorus repeating constantly).

Floor doesn't need mere human words to touch you with her voice. That run on the chorus still brings the goosebumps up. 😰❤️🔥

6:24 best reaction i have seen to Emppu and his many goofy stunts and gestures,while they perform from stage. He is a little Hobbit as they call him,allways into trickery and naughtiness (but in a good way),wich allways causes smiles and laughter on everyones faces. It comes off in interviews too,he is constantly laughing,cracking witty remarks and jokes. He is just a complete goofball and a fun guy to hang out with.

Tuomas did music to some finnish tv-series and movies. His dream and main musical influence is Disney scores though. He could do anything Disney, and Floor sing it.

One of the best ones....Second probably only to Storytime which Floor really shows what she can do. Seriously, Storytime, same concert, starts off great and then goes level 11 Floor in the second half.

Ghost River is from the Imaginaerum album which was released alongside a movie of the same name. The story was written by Tuomas and the movie director (Stobe Harju) and the album was used as a template for the story and the soundtrack of the movie, look it up, it's a really nicely crafted movie. Tuomas also produced a side project called The Life & Time of Scroog Mc Duck which is a soundtrack to the same name comic book, look it up too.

Keep in mind though that Imaginarium album was sung by Anette (though she did a great job there and I *really* love "Scaretale". The Wacken concert (and album) was made into album/video under the name "Showtime, Storytime" (I have the both albums and the German video of Nightwish's Wacken concert from the Imaginarium tour). Rather quirky trivia - Anette's version of "Amaranth" is used in "Blood Rayne 2: Deliverance" a movie based on a video game.

Keep in mind, that at the time the band was playing before crowds who came to the shows not fully knowing what the band would feel & sound like after passing through their second major crisis. Many may have been at least somewhat familiar with Floor from After Forever & ReVamp, but there was an air of excitement mixed with uncertainty. Floor hadn't even been publicly named as permanent singer. Seeing them joyfully perform like this... Nightwish was alive and well!

"Toumas needs to do movie scores" done already...Nightwish HAS a movie, and album that is also a movie...this song comes from it...its called Imaginaerum and its awesome and beautiful, you should watch it...and Suzy if you liked the song play the whole album...its like the most cohesive and their best has a lot of high, lows and even jazz...yeap NW can do jazz

If you want to have a little fun, checking out some older stuff by Floor…give a listen to her old band, ReVamp "Disdain"...live at Graspop She pretty much does EVERYTHING, vocally, in that one song.

Disdain is a great one to hear Floor growl.

Every reactor who watches this performance says it's their new favourite Nightwish song, which goes to show how good it is. I find myself tearing up near the end for some reason, I think it's Floor and Marco's harmonies, mainly Floor's long notes, they're so beautiful. When floor hits a chest voice long note and finishes with perfect vibrato it's absolutely heavenly.

I'm so happy that you noticed that epic rabbit jump - solo/riff combo of king emppu.

Ghost river is a favorite of mine too.................but you have to see Devil and the deep dark ocean Live In Buenos Aires from Nightwish too

My favorite Nightwish song is always the last one I’ve listened to. I guarantee if you go back to your reactions of each song you have done you have said this line, “ Wow that song is my favorite or one of my favorite Nightwish songs”. They are that good, Don’t know if you have done anything from their New Album, Human Nature but her goes try Tribal or How The Heart, if you have done these , hey that last Nightwish song we heard is my favorite! if he has depends on how see it there is The Life and Times of Scrooge wich is a Sound track for a Comicbook by Don Rose or do you mean for the finnish Movie Liesaka there he wrote and recorded a song with Marko Hietala called while your lips are still red. Or do you think of the whole Imaginearum album wich is Played in parts through out the Movie by the same name^^

I have seen them live with their full show in stadiums, and in a small theater with no show, just music. I can not say I enjoyed one more than the other. Anything they do is going to be FANTASTIC!!!

Ghost River and Ever Dream are my favorite Nightwish songs. That steady Marco chorus of: He will go down he will drown drown, deeper down The river wild will take your only child He will go down he will drown drown deeper down The mills grind slow in a riverbed ghost town Is just epic! Especially when it's meshed in with Floor's wails. There's just so much to love about this song. Emppu's frivolity at the beginning with the crowd, his frog stomp, his head banging, and the big guitar scrape. Jukka is just a beast on the drums and of course the maestro dinging the keys and leading them all. Just LOVE this song! Very good reaction! :)

Ghost River is the underdog of Nightwish songs. Sure it has the 80's tone, some passion, and motion. A great song over all. When I die I hope to hear this tune in then background while it happens.

Ah, the "Nightwish problem".Your favourite song is the one you listened to last. Still, I love this one for the interaction between Marko and Floor, and that beautiful tranquil section in the middle. Marko and Floor are playing the roles of a devil / Giaia in this piece and Floor really channels it into the music.

I would like to recommend Vintersea - Illuminated (official music video) If you are interested in Floor´s past as a singer (pre-Nightwish), then there is a double-feature by After Forever from one of their last concerts (good quality audio and video) - After Forever - Discord & Dreamflight Live ProgPower USA (2007) and there are, of course, older live performances, but their quality is not exactly stellar; for Floor second band ReVamp with its much trashier sound - ReVamp - Disdain Live at Graspop (2010)

I can’t find it to buy in North America :( European versions of DVDs are EU only playback - need to find a blue ray multi location copy. Wish it was on official NW store for everywhere. Only the making of the Imaginaerum movie and song videos available as far as I can find.

nightwish is great band coz they have so many different songs that everybody have different favorite songs. many hit songs where to pick up the number 1 song. ok thanx and again have great weekend there.

Did you two catch the two growls by Floor at about 2:50 and 4:50 ? On the lyric, "we live as we scream."

I think one of the things that sets them apart musically is that they somewhat have a sound (is epic a sound?) but they don't limit themselves to a style. This gives them the freedom to take the music anywhere. This is what for me makes them different to other bands in the so called symphonic metal genre who much more stick to the script of what symphonic metal is. Whether or not this is a good thing depends on your personal taste in music. For me it is awesome as I love good music of all flavours!
