The most impressive thing to me is Floor dancing in those heels!

Yes, we all love Floor. You’d think by the title you’d need the tissue, but despite the lyrics being about the loss childhood innocence and longing for the ability to experience and feel emotion, it’s more of a feel good song musically. Now watch Dead Boy’s Poem from this show, an amazing song, that Floor did her own way. Also my favorite little solo from Emppu. Might keep that tissue ready for that one. Enjoy!

Floor is always trying to get Emppu to dance with her. She tried twice in this song. There is another video of this that shows a different angle and you can see Floor trying to get him to dance with her.

Yes her stage presence is captivating and at times hypnotic. This is a joyous song not a tear jerker, but Dead Boy's Poem from this same concert is! It gets me every time and I've heard it time and time again. It's a master piece which never gets old and belongs in a museum. You will understand when you hear/see it. Even though Floor was not felling great during this concert due to having the flu days before she gives a haunting and legendary performance. Enjoy it!

Isn't she the best? You're 100% right too. When you're there in person, you literally do whatever she says. You can't not! She's so contagious and charming! Such a stage presence. She's mesmerizing. Saw them live the first time back in May in NYC, and I thought I knew from watching videos on YT what it would be like. Nope! Blew me away! Best show I have ever seen. Love them so much! It's worth doing whatever you have to do to travel to wherever they are to see them live. I already cannot wait for the next time they come back around.

Hello Jynger! This was happy one, wasn't it? I'm always in awe of Floor's engergy. I would be totally exhausted after doing this song the way she did this one haha! And the whole band is having such joy. And that crowd...amazing! Another great song is "Over the Hils and Far Away". It is a cover of the song written by Gary Moore. Troy is playing the Uilleann (ill-en or ill-yen) pipes. The Irish version of the bagpipes which uses a bellows squeezed by the elbow to inflate the bag. Uilleann is the Gaelic word for elbow. Another Great Reaction! When you watch Floor onstage you really get the feeling that she loves singing and performing. There is an amazing interview with Floor that you must watch if you love Floor. It is not a traditional sit down interview, but the interviewer goes with Floor to her Rock Academy Reunion, then to the concert venue (Tampere 2015) where he interviews Floors parents with Floor standing there, then the day after he meets with Floor and they go to a music store and meet some fans. Be forewarned though, keep the tissues handy, Floor gets a little emotional. The title of the video is "Floor Jansen Dutch show Reunion (Tampere 2015).

The "Decades" 2 disc CD & DVD is a great purchase!!! I listen to it whenever I am out going to one of doctors! The whole concert is made of up songs from their earlier music and some of their newer songs!!

I've seen all your reaction to Nightwish. Always look for your next one. You react pretty much the same way I do and did. It's crazy that she puts a tear to my eye. That never happened before. I'm a super Iron Maiden fan. I've seen them 9 times. The first one 1985 and I'm going next week for my tenth. Nightwish is my new Iron Maiden. I will see them one day. As for Floor. She has become my favorite singer all time. I watch everything of them and her. She's popping up everywhere. I love it. Her new release is badass. I've been playing drums, bass and Guitar sense I was 16. I listen and study everything in a band that inspires me so I can play thier songs. So they do the same thing to me as well. A lovely ‘Anette’ number from Imaginaerum which Floor, and it comes as no surprise, takes to an amazing level in live performance. As a live performer, with some form of emotional hot line to the audience, Floor is surely a female reincarnation of Freddy Mercury.

It's hard to believe, but as far as stage presence goes, Foor dialed it up, not one but multiple notches after the pandemic. Deichbrand and Hellfest are worth checking out.
