I love the keyboard at the beginning. Yes, I have heard Anettes solo song demos and I just adore them. I hope she persues her solo career.

uff I Felt alive again, Demos are like getting the nightwish back before Once, the escence and the inocence are so beautiful!

Amazing version! It reminds me a lot of Moondance.

Whilst Anette had some troubles with the more Operatic stuff, she still had a wonderful voice, and the versatility and voice acting she demonstrated throughout this album are wonderful. While Floor is the best of both worlds overall, there are a few tracks on this album that are just not the same without the inflection Anette provided. Front to back IMO, this stands with any Tarja era album. Yes, different style of singing, but doesn't matter. It's so good.

Imaginaerum does not ‘stand with any Tarja album’. In my view, for what it’s worth, Imaginaerum is THE Nightwish album, beating Tarja’s best, Once.

in poet and the pendulum, yes. Because the tracks were written before she was picked. But the demos for imaginaerum would involve anette, being she was part of the band.

Wow! Never heard that one before!

Anette sounds clear here vs. the final version.

In most songs, especially tpatp her voice is almost drowned out by the choirs

I think I like this one more than the album version!

I think that on any Demo of any song, Anette's voice sounds better than on any final edit. Something of her always gets lost in the mixing.

I honestly don't know about any Imaginaerum material, maybe wait for others to answer that. If you want demo material from 2009 for that solo album that she cancelled later, search for Invincible and Floating. Also her demo of Ever Dream that she sent to Tuomas in 2005 or 06 is around.

But they did. The melody which she sings in the demo isn't the same in the studio version. The one from studio version is three tones lower.

Whoa. The keyboards are so audible here. (I'm not talking about the fake Uilleann pipes. I'll take Troy for that any day.) I wish the keyboards were more audible in the final cut. I think Tuomas tends to undermine his performance in the songs. I don't know why.

Because much of the parts that he plays on his keyboard for the demos gets played by the orchestra in the end. That's my gripe with them after Once; his keyboards are almost inaudible, especially in their live shows.

decir que esa voz es mejor que la de tarja o anette es relativo, es cuestion de gustos, las 3 son excelentes, sin embargo la forma en que floor canta las canciones de anette y tarja, no me agrada , por atnto a mi no me gusta su estilo, su capacidad no esta a discusion
