Just listening to him sounds like a lecturer, who's careful to articule nice and slow, and highlight the key elements, so nobody would miss on anything.

The main act; the final song. No kidding! The 26 minutes track is perfect for my work commute. It makes for a fun ride when The Toolmaker starts it's slow crescendo and peaks right when I hit the highway! :D

losingmymind18 Even the most genius males aren't always good at taking "hints" from women, lol. To those who think he's uncaring he probably would have been a gentleman and asked if she wanted him to hold it if he could see physical signs of her arm cramping or getting tired like using her other arm to support that one. Then again she has her "professional face." on so I doubt she would let herself do that.

Spoiler This album is an expectable delivery after Imaginaerum. Tuomas does an amazing job with the music and every song is very rich in orchestal sounds, but it's not the kind of metal that once made Nightwish my favourite band, it doesn't give me the goosebumps that I had with former albums. With this album, you feel like in a movie, with lots of elements and complexity but for my taste, I give it a 7/10. It's a pity how Floor's voice is used through the album, she can offer so much more, I prefer to continue enjoying the vastness of her voice in Revamp. With Nightwish, her voice is just a decoration in Tuomas' musical world.

deepdarkmidnight DDM Man how can you say Floor doesn't use her voice on the album? Did you hear Yours is an Empty Hope? She does gutural! And there are several parts on the album where she does her operatic voice together with the chorus. Of course, the majority is her light voice, but that doesn't mean she isn't using her voice. You don't need to do operatic to be good.

Bruno Marangoni Still, the variations are short compared to the whole album and in most of the songs the voice is overwhelmed by the music. What I'm saying here is that now Tuomas doesn't adapt the music to the voice as he did before, but the other way around.

remagine I don't think she was the worst thing. Imaginaerum was great... but the worst thing was that Tarja got kicked out!!! And now Floor is just suiting perfect into Nightwichs atmosphere!

Lol, he's right about "My Walden". It's clearly "I Want My Tears Back, part 2"... more like a continuation of the song, the pipes are just same over and over again.

But the whole album is great, not the best but it's very good. Maybe because Floor's voice is a bit let down after hearing her at Showtime, Storytime. I give it a 7.5 out of 10. By the way, Élan is the worse track on the album, why Tuomas keeps choosing the weakest tracks on his albums for the singles?
