Totally agree. This at Wacken 2013 and seeing Led Zepplin open in 1973 with Rock & Roll are the best opening songs I remember

The clue was in the title, DECADES 😆 If you can call a set list mediocre when it contains 10th Man Down, The Carpenter, Gethsemane, Devil and the Dark Ocean, The Kinslayer, you cant be a true NW fan. I saw them earlier this week and they were totally awesome man, and the set list was amazing 😎👍🤘

You named precisely the songs I could have done without. I tried myself, picked 3 songs of every album as Tuomas did and ended up with 4-5 songs of this set list, rest different. "Most essential", sure. More like "we played this on past tours, lets play some leftovers". Yes, the show was great, but so much amazing material left behind. Stargazers, Ever Dream, Alpenglow, Bare Grace Misery to name a few. Sigh.

Stu Redman yep I do understand where you are coming from, I guess they probably had trouble including everything they would have liked too. I must admit, I watched the Led Zep reunion movie Celebration Day, at the cinema, and I was surprised by what they had left out too, stuff I would have been sure they’d have played from their back catalogue. I guess that’s the way it goes sometimes.
