Until the camera pulled back I thought it was the same concert. Had my hopes up and quickly shot down.

Couldn't have put it better. Who is "better" depends on your personal preference...but you can't deny both are supremely talented singers. Think they work well together...shame it probably wouldn't work on a long term basis.

Well, Tarja clearly has the best voice. But her pronunciation of the words are as always pretty unclear. Floor still has as a very good voice, and she gets the lyrics across to the audience much better.

@@tonybell9551 Maybe not now, as she has lost much of her voice. But when she was still in the band, Tarja was leaps and bounds better than Floor is now. That is my opinion at least. In my ears Floor sounds better than the average female pop singer. But that's all. But if you don't like opera? Then sure, anything sounds better than Tarja. And as I said. Floors pronounciation is way better than Tarja's.

Honestly, if you only gave me the audio and told me this was a live duet, I'd believe you, it's that good. The mixing is honestly on point everywhere, and each queen gets her moments to shine. Thanks for this. It's really wonderful. :)

How can anyone give this a thumbsdown? I understand some people don't like certain eras of Nightwish - but the guy who put this together made a flawless mix without any skips or bumps to where it actually sounds like a duet

Yes the work is done well and it's something I would like to see , but I spotted it as a mashup early on when I stopped the video and focused in and saw the the 2 of them were not on the stage. Had they been together they would have been nearer to each other. I dearly would like to see it happen , but I'm not holding my breath. They could have mentioned too that it was an edited film.

The most amazing part of this is the timing and accuracy of the other players. The timing is dead on which makes this possible. Excellent job in editing and mixing! They make a beautiful pair.

Tarja's voice has a quiver in it that to me sounds like an old lady. Floor's voice on the other hand is so stable and powerful. She is next level, but on this concert only. On subsequent concerts she seems to have lost this unique powerful sound. Still amazing till this day though!

I fell in love with Nightwish when I was 11 years old and it broke my heart when I heard three years later that Tarja had to leave the band in 2005 . I cried for hours when my father gave me the open letter that was meant for Tarja because I loved her voice so much and I thought Nightwish will never be the same without her. The following years proved me right. I just couldn't stand the voice of Anette Olson, it wasn't the same music I grew up with and loved so much. Now I have to admit, that the new singer Nightwish found, is a f*cking good replacement for Tarja. Sure, Tarja Turunen can never be really replaced, but it's a new path they follow and even the old songs sound good with her voice. I hope the best for Nightwish and I think I can fall in love again with this band. Sincerely A longtime fan P.S.: Don't blame me for mistakes, I'm not a native speaker. ;)

Such a brilliant job with these videos. Technically perfect, artistically even better. It is so hard to tell this is not one concert.

I always get goosebumps when watching those duet mix videos. It's so perfectly done. the visual and acoustic illusion about both, Tarja and Floor on one stage singing together.

The way both of their voices sound when they sing "Time to bless the child" sooooooooo beautiful.

Floor's voice just enters the heart!

Nightwish, Queen and Sabaton are the best to ever take on stage. Queen overall and vocally Nightwish with their scores and soprano's Sabaton with their amazing stories about millitairy history, fan service/interaction, their baritone (Joakim Bróden) and uplifting beats. All of these 3 are the best in their own ways. Do not forget Floor is married with Hannes from Sabaton (drummer). Keep em rocking 🤘 and NOCH EIN BEER 🍻🤘

This is the best thing I have ever heard.

Its lovely seeing Tarja back, she did an utterly awesome Phantom of the Opera with Nightwish, while Floor was stunning in 'Shudder Before The Beautiful' at Wembley Stadium.

Excellent mix. Both Tarja and Floor were the best of their style. Early 80s Rock was what I went to High School with, and Nightwish fits in well with Gen X music. Funny, but Patricia Buechler, Patty Gurdy, introduced me to Nightwish.

Ich bin Fan von Nigthwish seit den Anfängen. Ich liebe Tarjas Stimme. Aber wer nach diesem Duett nicht die exzellente Qualität von Floor anerkennt, hat von Gesang keine Ahnung. Sie ist ebenso präzise, sie ist stimmlich präsenter, sie hat die größere Range, sie hat mehr Nuancen im Ausdruck. Sie ist das beste, was Nigthwish nach Tarja passieren konnte.

Absolut! Ich frage mich heute noch warum Nigthwish nach dem Abgang von Tarja, Anette Olzon als neue Sängerin verpflichtet hatten!?! Die Frau konnte die Hälfte der epischen Nigthwish Songs an denen Tarja mit ihrer großartigen Stimmte mitgewirkt hat, nicht Performen bzw. war es meines Erachtens (Live) nur peinlich! Daher habe ich Nightwish auch für viele Jahre nicht mehr (nachdem ich natürlich auch die neuen Alben an denen Anette Olzon mitgewirkt hat) gehört . Irgendwann habe ich dann mal gelesen, dass Floor Jansen zu Nigtwish gestoßen ist und die "Minnie Maus" (mein Spitzname für Annette) raus geworfen wurde. Hatte damals nicht viel erwartet aber als ich dann das Live Album von 2017 - Vehicle Of Spirit - Wembley Arena gehört habe, war ich hin und weg! Floor Jansen toppt meiner Meinung nach sogar Tarja, nicht nur vom Gesang, sondern auch von der Bühnenperformance (die Frau macht mehr viel mehr Action)!

Trotzdem passt sie stimmlich für mich nicht zu Nightwish. Ich finde die Stimme von Tarja hat den Sound von Nightwish stark geprägt, das kann man nicht durch eine andere Sängerin ersetzen, die zwar technisch einwandfrei ist aber komplett anders singt.

Для меня прелесть все-таки была в сочетании рока и оперного высокого голоса. Да, вокал у Флоор хорош, очень хорош. Если бы я сначала не слышала Тарью... я бы полюбила и такой Найтвиш, хотя он такой и проиграл бы WT для меня. Но я сначала услышала Тарью... и теперь слышу, как то тут, то там не хватает мощи, не хватает высоты...

I use to love nightwish with Tarja, she had such a nice tone but now that I'm listening to Floor I'm just blown away how good she is. She pronounces better, has better stage presence, voice control and the emotion she puts in each note.... Regardless, they're just my 2 favorite singers of symphonic metal, well Marko too ;-)
