ComicsExplained Do you think you can do some Star Wars comics like Darth Vader and Lost Command, Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison, Tales of the Jedi, Invasion, Knights of the Old Republic, or Jango Fett Open Seasons? All of them are good reads and are on par with any DC and Marvel comic storyline.

What's truly amazing about Rebirth is how they've managed to keep up an amazing pace of releases with stellar storytelling. It's such a great time to be a DC fan.

theindiandood the only okay/ mediocre titles are justice league but I liked issue 14, birds of prey, superwoman was interesting then got boring and too much exposition for one of the issues, supergirl quite forgettable but supergirl being super is good, cyborg is one but I think vol 2 is improving. The rest of the titles are pretty solid, some enjoyable, really good and few AMAZING. Can't be bothered listing all of them and your right.

Nerd Zone! Yeah but relatively when all other titles are practically soaring in sales and in quality. You know? For some reason I had a tough time reading first two issues of Blue Beetle. I don't know what it was but I didn't get into it until later issues. Any idea how Deathstroke is? I've heard similar things to JL

Overall, yeah, but Marvel has its gems. Literally anything by Jason Aaron is great right now, Jeff Lemire has been doing very well with Moon Knight and Old Man Logan, and there's a certain Vision story arc that just finished up that was amazing, just for examples.

***** Ehh "political agenda" is a bit of an exaggeration. Yeah they've been switching a lot of characters to women or minorities and that kind of thing, but it's not so much about politics as it is about pandering to people of certain social perspectives and profiting from them. I mean whatever, it's dumb, but it's not like they're trying to brainwash anyone, just making money as usual.

Rob you have to keep doing this series. Nightwing is my favorite and now there are two of him.. of them...of they... two Nightwings. yesssss

When every concievable character and/or powerset has already been used, how would YOU create new characters or give a character their own rogues. I can garuntee you that any character you can come up with will just be a copy of an already existing one.

No, you missed the point when Rob Explained that these characters already existed, they were just not very well known... which gives the writer free reign to do whatever he wishes with them without it affecting any other titles. And as I already stated, any "new" character they came up with would just be compared to a pre-existing one anyway, so what difference does it make?

YES! I personally own all of the released Nightwing Rebirth comics but I love to see and hear your take on the story. Nightwing was the real reason I started reading DC comics. I'm so happy he's his own hero now.

ComicsExplained is the best thing coming out of DC Rebirth.

Plain and simple, your channel is awesome. You have such an iconic narrative voice and give very thorough explainantions of these storylines. One character I'd really like you to tackle would be Marvel's Jack O'Lantern. Sure I can go and read a Wiki on him and what not, which I've done so in the past, but you explaining his origin would be pretty cool. Cheers!

I highly doubt that guy at the end is New 52 Nightwing, because that would mean the Nightwing we've been reading about is pre-Flashpoint Nightwing. Eventough in Nightwing #9 it's clear he doesn't remember the pre-Flashpoint world like pre-Flashpoint Superman does, and it doesn't make any sense for this Nightwing to be any other version of Nightwing. I'm pretty sure the guy is William Cobb, Dick's great great grandfather who was a Talon for the Court of Owls. In the image we get to see at the end, his skin seems to be lighter and his hair is a lot longer than Dick's, just like William Cobb. In the sollicitian for Nightwing 17 it even says the two will be fighting and the line "Too bad there's only room in this town for one of me." is probably refering to someone of William Cobb's bloodline.

Theory: When Batman was brought wholesale over, as the original batman, that they brought the whole bat family. That, unlike Old Superman, they were integrated, memory speaking, into the New 52 universe, as a means for Dr. Manhattan to have friends, when he fights Ozymandias.

It's Deathwing. Appeared during the Teen/Team Titans stuff. Pre-52, he believed he was Dick Grayson from future, but turned out he wasn't. He had NIPPLE RINGS! lol But Tim Seeley is gonna obviously switch up somethings to keep it fresh. So I can't wait!

I never got to read Dixon's Nightwing, but am really like this run in Bludhaven even if it's a bit predictable.

Nightwing did have his own Rogues Gallery, in the Nightwing comics Chuck Dixon did there were a number of them.

Ok, I think it is either injustice nightwing, aka Damian Wayne or, the earth 3 Richard Grayson that Owlman was referring to in Forever Evil.

I enjoy revisiting the earlier Nightwing Rebirth issues, how they went from something so true to character that reminds me of the Chuck Dixon issues from my childhood to latest edgeboi Ric' Grayson baffles me. But I guess that's editorial and the changing of creative teams for ya'.

Its really nice to see you all excited about the ending along with the total nerd moment when it was spoiled for you. And maybe they're doing the same thing here as they did with Superman. So the old Nightwing has been in the backdrop watching everything not seeing a need to interfere directly but more in the shadows.

Hey Rob I noticed after the Justice League vs the Suicde Squad that Lobo was Pre-New 52's. Im noticing that there's more and more Pre-New 52's counter parts are appearing because this Night Wing comic basically proves something . I'm not saying I'm right. But New 52's Lobo still exist he had a cameo in the last arc in Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps. I think more Pre-New 52's counterparts are going to keep showing up.

These better be some good good dame story's if we two nightwings can wait to see how this goes down

I like the Ideas of Tim Sealey but I don't like his writing especially how he writes Nightwing, he continues the trend started by Grant Morrison 9 years ago to write Nightwing as the exact opposite of Batman so basically The Spider-Man of DC. The BEST version of Nightwing is from the 90's Bludhaven era, where he was Batman but without the anger, so very Zen Like, still focussed, smart, determined, cool and charming but not overtly quippy, or even sexualized, and the 90's Bludhaven version stands out as a real hero who is still flawed yet incredibly powerful as he should be.

Still, is a welcome change to the character, is not as bad as the New 52 Nightwing.

Another Great video Rob. My only issues are you seem to blow off the old Nightwing title. In that book, Bludhaven was shown as worse than Gotham where the crime started from the bottom and worked its way down. In Bludhaven crime goes from the top back down. Also, Nightwing did have villains with Blockbuster being his arch-nemesis almost. In terms of theory maybe it is an alternate universe, or someone using the guise of Nightwing like Jason Todd did once.

I thought I was beginning to understand the transition from New 52 to Rebirth and then this happens?? WTF? I'm loving Rebirth!!!!
