Gifted speaker, extremely intelligent, knows how to convey ideas without talking in senseless circles like other reviewers.

Thanks for your review of Nightfighter Ace. I bought a copy of Nightfighter Ace last week and I hope to try it out in the next few weeks. This is my first wargame purchase and I have only played wargames a handful of times. It sounds like Nightfighter Ace is not too complex or fiddly and that is good for this newcomer to the boardgame genre.

This is the best solitaire wargame I have played in many years.

Really looking forward to getting this to the table. Love the Hunters and Raiders of the Deep--this sounds even more immersive.

Great review! Greg has really captured a terrific system for combat in this game as well as his others like The Hunters and Silent Victory. Simple system for searching for encounters, as well as how combat takes place.

Hello,as always you doing a very nicely review! i was in "Essen Speil 2018" with a my friend and it was something special, by the way , haven't seen you around :(... so many games to try, so little time to do it! it's worth the time but a lot of games! in the end i missed lot of games, can you please can add information about specific two , The first one was the game called Heropath, we actually forgotten about this game because we were in hurry all the time but the game was on our list especially with all the different modes this games offers, and it quite a shame ... and the second game i think was Underwater Cities.

First of all I think you done a very good review for this game (Nightfighter Ace). Second I decided to search for this game Heropath that I heard so much about , and I found it on the indiegogo for late buyers. it seems like a really neat game , i would really like to see an honest review if it really worth a while.

I like this game but i dont like Compass games product quality vs cost of game. Quite thin counters which are functional and thin cards. But that flight sheet and some other sheets are way too thin and concerning this is about 95euro game it should be better.

Okay. Who is the misguided soul that gave Marco a thumbs-down? This is Marco. You NEVER give Marco a thumbs-down! :-)

I found this game to have a large amount of annoying errors in both the rules as well as the game mats

There are some typos but the designer has addressed them all on Boardgamegeek and none affect gameplay.

I just can't get past the theme. I don't want to play the Nazi side of anything, especially solitaire. That's why I play Silent Victory instead of Hunters.

Just wondering, so with all other games which require multiple players, you would always expect the other folks to play the "Nazi" side? Do you also have "problems" gamimg WW2 fascist Italians? Or Soviets (those darn "Commies" wanting to rule the world)"? You could give WW2 "Castle Itter" a try. "Nazis" fighting with mainly Frnech PoW and Yanks, against Nazi SS
